I usually dont stop at this location but its right across from my campus so I decided to stop for some gum and a $1 scratch off today. It was a little busy but that didnt bother me since I was a whole 20 minutes early for classes anyway, so I picked up my gum and got in line to use my card to buy the gum and scratch off, which I have done numerous times at other locations. There was a man inside that was pacing and talking on his phone, and then yelled to the cashiers up front if there was anyone back there behind the counter for their little cafe because he had put in an order and no one seemed to be there making it. I just ignored him, being a employee for food service myself and figuring he was just impatient. My turn came and I told the cashier I wanted to buy the gum and get the $1 scratch off, so he got the scratch off and rang me up and told me to swipe my card. It didnt go through the first three times, so he asked to see the card and then suddenly said "Oh its because this scratch off is programmed for cash only, you cant use card." Then called the next guest up, so I didnt even get my gum. The girl that had been behind me in line had stepped up to the other cashier as this was going on and picked up a cookie up front, then put it down and was prepared to pay and the cashier there completely ignored her and called for the next guest behind her. Im sorry, but this is just terrible customer service. I get that they were busy, but what if I wanted to buy my gum anyway? And completely ignoring a guest who stood in line and calling up the next person behind her is unacceptable, I wont be returning here again, Ill just stop at RaceTrac or the Kroger gas station down the street instead.

As gas stations go, I love this place. There is actual food with healthy options. Im always on the run so this place is great. Its really clean, organized, the food doesnt look expired and the staff always says hello and ask how you are.
