Have lived in Madison for 8 years and passed this shop many, many times while saying to myself "Im going to stop there one day for some honey". The honey looks so good sitting in the window. I made a run to the post office and afterwards wanted a bite to eat but not something I always have so I remembered this little shop sold sandwiches. This was one of the best sandwiches Ive ever had. I had the smoked turkey and swiss with avacado, tomato and lettuce. The little shop is so quaint and cute. I couldnt wait to tell my daughter about it. We stopped by the very next day. She got a sandwich and I got some muscadines. They were so juicy and sweet. Took me back to my childhood. They definitely have 2 new loyal customers as we will be eating there atleast once or twice a week. Thanks for the great food and service!

Im new to the Madison area and I was talking to some of the locals about where to go for a bite to eat and The Madison Produce Company was the first suggestion. I looked them up online, called and placed a to go order for a sandwich. When I walked in, I was amazed at the selection of local products and the overall look of the store. I walked up to the counter and saw an acoustic guitar on a stand and they said it was the owners. Turns out he was there and he and I talked a while about this and that but he was as nice as he could be. I ate my sandwich and it was one of the best Ive ever eaten!!! I will be by at least once a week and will be telling those who ask where to go to grab a quick meal.

Great sandwiches. Everything tastes fresh. They serve Boars Head meats and the bread looks to come from Luna Bakery in Athens. Never had anything bad here. Definitely a must do in Madison. I love the Italian hoagie and the turkey and cheese hoagie. Good produce too. Better than the grocery store and a better value. As others said, small shop but they make the sandwiches quick and most importantly they make them good.

This is a great place for sandwiches. The owners are very friendly. I highly recommend the burn-in Sherman sandwich. We ended up eating here twice during the twenty four hours we were in town.

Good sandwiches. Salads looked good. Everything fresh. Simple menu, only six tables inside. A few tables outside. Pleasant place and pleasant people.
