I have been going to this Wal-Mart for quite some time and usually I have an alright experience, but lately it has been quite the opposite, and today was the last straw. I am fully aware of what its like to work retail in Gwinnett county, So I empathize, but I am also aware that the customers are not (completely) at fault for my ill feelings. Today my 2-year-old daughter, mom, and I went to this Wal-Mart for a few items. We went to the only line open and stood there while the cashier slowly completed a transaction. Jenny, the cashier, not only moved at speeds comparable to a snail, she also yawned the entire time. She would just repeatedly move items back and forth across the scanner until the scanner eventually caught the barcode and scanned, instead of being proactive and finding the barcode first. Im fairly positive that the longest part of our endeavor today was standing, waiting for this woman to accomplish the seemingly daunting tasks associated with the impossible complexities of being a Wal-Mart cashier. About 15 minutes after watching her scan my 10 items, I handed her a gift card with $30 on it, she swiped the card so slowly that it was no surprise when it didnt work. She decided to scratch off the gray thing on the back, which took another 5 minutes, in order to type it into the computer. This also didnt work because Im pretty sure she was supposed to enter the number above the barcode instead - but what would I know? Logic is for losers. - she told me my card had no money on it and I was forced to pay the entire balance with my debit card.. Which is more annoying than anything else. (Let me include that I called the card service center and the card did, in fact, still contain the entire $30 balance). This woman then moved on to my moms transaction - took a solid 20 minutes. My mom purchased a bottle of wine, showed ID, swiped her credit card, and signed. My daughter gets antsy at the store so we always let her push the green button on the keypad following transactions. My TWO YEAR OLD hit the green button and all of a sudden the same woman who looked like she had just woken up from a benzodiazepine nap time, perked up and told us that since we purchased alcohol, my daughter was forbidden to push the green button, and followed that asinine statement by claiming that her job was now in jeopardy - because my two year old pushed the green button. My daughter PRESSED THE GREEN BUTTON and THAT was what would put this womans job in jeopardy.. Not the fact that she acted as though we were putting her out by purchasing things from her line at the job SHE CHOSE TO HAVE. She ran off to tell a coworker, who apparently did not appear concerned at all. Let me also add that my mom literally lets her do this everywhere and we have never been told that it is a forbidden practice punishable by unemployment. I called customer service right after leaving and told the manager my situation, she did not even offer to take care of the $30 gift card issue and, of course, continued with this Wal-Marts approach to customer service by treating me as if I was raining on her parade for calling her and making her DO HER JOB. Oh, Wal-Mart, ya done goofed. And if you ever want to excite a lackluster Wal-Mart cashier, simply let your toddler push the green button - that really gets em fired up.

This was a less than acceptable experience at Walmart. When I pulled in, I could see only one tech working in the Auto Center and thought to myself, this may take a while. When approached by the cashier (Auto center manager), she was honest with the timing: Sir, it will be at least two hours. I smiled and accepted as I was able to work via the Walmart Free WiFi while I waited. An hour in, I stood up to check on progress. Same lady told me they were about to pull my car in. I was thinking, maybe it will be done before the two hours seeing how I ordered an oil change and tire rotation and two more techs were on duty by that time. An hour later(two hours into this experience), I was greeted by a tech who said: Sir, did you still want the tire rotation? I greeted him with an enthusiastic Hello and accepted his offer. As he was walking out, with an exiting posture, nonchalantly turned and said we are unable to complete the oil change because we do not have tool to pull your oil filter. Having waited two hours to get an oil change in the first place was bad enough, then his pure disregard for my time and not one bit of customer service(empathy) only made it worse. About 15min later I was called to the front as my vehicle was finished. As I approached the cashier (auto center manager - as noted on the wall behind her) said nothing but: please insert your card. Not one bit concerned of the almost two and a hours of my day wasted for utimately just a tire rotation. I mentioned it to her and she seemed clueless about the missing/broken tools. Color me the fool for not taking this to higher management at the time but I had to book it to Atlanta for a meeting. Whether you work for a multinational corporation or the mom and pop shop in your local, treat people with high regard no matter what. Lets get this corrected asap. Walmart, Ill be back...

One star! I wish I didnt have to put any! Today was thee WORSE EXPERIENCE OF ALL EXPERIENCES IVE HAD AT ANY RETAIL STORE! If you require any type of respect, then you need to STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!! My husband and I were just doing some early morning shopping for almost 2 hours while the kids are away at school. We had the WORSE experience with this cashier named JENNIFER! I mean initially this womans body language was enough to think there was a problem. My husband bought some Heineken to say the least. While checking out she goes "whos buying the beer?" I reach inside my purse and took my husbands wallet out. Handed the wallet to my husband. He gives her his ID. He then hands it back to me to put back in my purse. At that time, she then point straight in my face and say "I need your ID now," in a very snotty disposition. Im disabled, so I was in the handicap scooter. So while shes pointing, shes literally repeatedly pointing directly in my face. So I said, "excuse me?" she says (while pointing), "I need to see your ID now!" Like I was a criminal or something! At this time Im pissed from her continuously pointing her fingers in my face, " I said NO." She says "well Im not selling you the beer." My husband goes "wait, what just happened?" AGAIN! This woman constantly points her finger directly in my face! I felt so small. Like I actually have done something to her. Then she says we doing funny money transactions (whatever that meant). By that time we had requested customer service to speak with about her behavior. The lady Allysa was nice. She apologize for that cashiers behavior; but because of the humiliation that woman put us through; we decided not to purchase anything and left all of the items on the counter. Ill never shop Walmart stores again. Target it is!
