My hubby and I visited this store for the first time after Christmas 2015. No longer able to wear shoes "as they come," I was pleased that the staff takes quite a bit of time with each customer to insure that we get the help and kind of shoes we need. We waited longer than 30 minutes because the staff was helping others ahead of us. If youre impatient or looking for the latest fad, dont bother going to Star Shoes--their shoes are for those of us with foot pain or conditions. I will add that their shoes are nice, however. The gentleman who helped me took over an hour with me, assessing my feet, explaining what I needed, fitting me with proper athletic shoes. I had brought in a pair of dress shoes bought elsewhere that didnt fit in the heel and lacked enough arch support, and he modified them while I waited, for a small fee since I didnt purchase them there. I also ordered a pair of dress shoes and will return for a fitting when they come in. There is no charge for modifications if the shoes were purchased there. All in all, I recommend Star Shoes if you have foot problems and/or foot pain. They will make their shoes fit for your satisfaction and comfort.

Waste of time and lots of money down the drain. They pushed a product they had rather than what was needed to correct the foot issue. First go to an orthopedic surgeon or pediatrist..Make sure you know exactly what you need. Then go shop somewhere else.
