My boyfriend and I have been customers to this store for quite some time. We have purchased around 4-5 NFL jerseys, which totals $400-500, as well as some t-shirts, hats, and accessories. Our experiences have always been pleasant. Today, however, was a different story. We walked into the store at around 12:30 or 1:00 on Monday May 23rd. My boyfriend spent about 10 minutes browsing through the jerseys, but was having a difficult time seeing the ones in the backs of the racks. He found the pole used to grab them down and was planning on using that to help him see the jerseys in back. The man working, who was just watching us the whole time, rudely demanded that he "needs to put the pole down" and he "shouldve asked for help because thats what Im here for". I was stunned that a worker just approached us that way and repeated over and over again that thats what hes here for. I was speechless, but my boyfriend remained calm and apologized (for nothing). We then saw a sign for 40% off apparel of play-off eliminated teams. We wondered if that included jerseys, so my boyfriend simply asked. The worker then responded very rudely, "well, just like the sign says..." and then read us the sign as if we already didnt do that. After that he just walked away without answering our questions or letting us clarify. The whole experience just left me insulted and in disbelief that an employee approached us that way. I wont lie, it left me in a horrible mood, and I wasnt even his customer! He never bothered to come and ask us if we needed help, yet was irritated that we didnt ask him. Its HIS job! Not only did he lose this $100 or more sale, but he caused us, and all the others we have told and will tell, to never take our business there again. To top everything off, I messaged the company about it and they only responded with, "I do apologize for your bad experience today but our poles are put out of reach of customers for safety reasons as spatulas and other utensils are in resturaunts etc. Im sorry you feel this way. Have a good rest of the day". I tired to message back to let them know that the worker could have told us that in a much nicer manner, and they blocked me!!! Really wonderful servive they have here.
