I have been going to Dr.Bender for about 3 years. When I first started going to her, she seemed to have integrity. I say this because every time I come there for an eye concern she does an eye exam on me. After that she proceeds to tell me how much worse my vision has gotten and I need to buy new glasses. She then walks me to the glasses and try to make me buy glasses when I came there for something similar to eye discomfort. I went to see another eye doctor and was told my current perscription was too strong. I didnt think any thing of it. I started bringing my mom there and she received an eye exam from her too. She told her the same thing. Her eyes were worse than her prescription. I decided to go to pearl vision to receive my annual eye exam and what I found out was shocking. My vision was still the same since 2009. The pearl vision doctor had no previous eye exams on me nor did I tell him anything about Dr.Bender. When I received my prescription I compared it to the ones I received before going to Bender Eye Care. My mom also just got a new exam and her prescription was too strong as well. Her eyes hadnt change either. I came to the conclusion Dr.Bender purposely writes the wrong prescription to sell her frames and lenses. Thats unethical and she should go out of business. Ive waisted so much money there and I told myself I would inform others. Youre welcome

I hadnt been to an optometrist in quite some time, Dr. K.L. Benders office was a very well put together, relaxed environment with plenty of delicious snacks (baked by the good doctor herself) to enjoy for the couple of minutes it took to pull a disappearing with a well-crafted mint brownie. Had a quick pleasant conversation with Dr. Bender a few drops here, a few questions there. It wasnt a long appointment at all. While i waited for the drops to activate, I reviewed some frames and talked about lenses with Alyssa, one of the assistants, who was extremely knowledgable & happy to disperse any information I requested. The doctor was very accommodating to my comfort level at all times, which is very refreshing & almost unexpected now-a-days. I finished placing my order for frames and lenses, proceeded to finish to physical check-up, which was top-notch. I went to pay the bill & was almost immediately offered to pay half now and half at pick-up for my glasses & to my surprised Dr. Bender hands me a white bakery box full of an assortment of her creations.... Finally, a doctor who gets that times are hard and people need a little help & a brownie.... :) Talk about above and beyond. I am so pleased with this place, I have been telling any & everyone since I left the office. Doctors offices around the country should strive for this level of care.

We are very happy with our experience with Bender. Weve had a very difficult time finding glasses that work for our 8 month old and Bender has been there to help us every step of the way. Alyssa, Donald, the reception staff and Dr. Bender were all extremely patient, understanding, and knowledgeable. If you are getting frames for an infant, I definitely suggest going to an opthalmologist or pediatricians office that offers infant frames and fittings or doing tons of research online and finding an optician/store that specializes in infants; however with their limited selection and experience of fitting these tiny glasses, the staff at Bender has given us the best service that we could ask for and we will definitely return when its time for our next size up!

Without a doubt the most careless customer service I have ever encountered. Great doctor, but the front office staff managed to loose my daughters contacts and the frames which she wanted new lenses installed. A week later they insisted she had picked up both, an impossibility since she left for college the same day she dropped them off. The office staff could not tell me when the lenses and glasses were dispensed. They insisted the problem was mine, not theirs. When I asked how they were going to solve the problem there was silence. Calls were not returned and to date the glasses are unaccounted for.

My sister, Amy, is disabled and it is not always easy to find a provider who goes out of their way to be so caring and compassionate. Amy has been seeing Dr. Bender for a couple years now. At each visit we are welcomed with genuine cheer and tenderness. Dr. Bender has developed a personal relationship with Amy and goes to great lengths to ensure Amy receives the most appropriate corrective eye glasses. We look forward to being one of her patients for years to come. I especially recommend her for anyone who has special needs.

I have been wearing glasses and contacts for 40 years and my experience with Dr. Bender and her staff was by far the most pleasant Ive ever had at an optometrists office. They have a combination of expertise and friendlness that made mine and my wifes appointments a joy. We HIGHLY recommend Bender Eyecare if you are looking for an eyecare professional. Its worth the drive even if you dont live in the Alpharetta, Johns Creek area - we make the trip from Tucker. Kudos to the team at Bender Eyecare!

Buyer beware! No guarantee or warranty on any glasses you purchase other than manufacture! Wasted over $700 on glasses that cannot be worn. Owners (husband/wife doctors) are in financial straits and up sell you without regard to what you really need. Please, please go somewhere else, such as Pearl Vison off Alpharetta hwy and Mansell. Or Thomas Eyecare any of the locations.

Took my two sons to get eye exams. After completing paperwork (they were new patients), there was no wait time. They went straight back. Everything was smooth. I have no complaints at all. Now that weve moved almost an hour away from the office, Id still make the drive all the way back for the great service. 5 stars!!!

Dr. Bender was thorough, and took her time. My first visit with her was an emergency that she took care of, because our regular optometrist couldnt get me in. Needless to say our entire family are patients and we couldnt be happier. I highly recommend Dr. Bender, and her caring staff.

Dr Bender is so nice! She was very welcoming when I came in, she answered all of my questions, she helped me pick out glasses, and she even gave me some brownies ar the end of my visit that she baked herself! I have never had a better experience at a doctors appointment.

Very friendly, helpful people. I needed a replacement nose pad for Adidas eyeglasses. Many outlets dont stock these or dont even carry spares. Not only did Bender EyeCare have the item in stock, but they replaced and fitted both pads for free, with a smile.
