I have had the worst experience ever in my life with this store. On November 13th I purchased a dishwasher and an over the stove microwave.I paid for a connection kit and installation for both items. Expecting an easy install I was extremely excited to receive my new items. On November 19th my items were delivered. The dishwasher was installed, however after the dishwasher was installed water leaked all over my floor causing my tile to separate. On 11/23/16 I received a call stating that another dishwasher would be installed on 12/1/16. On 12/1/16 a unit was brought to my home only to discover that the "installers" forgot to bring the kit for the install. They supposedly werent hired to install, only to deliver. The next delivery scheduled for 12/8/16 Was the beginning of the fiasco. On 12/8/16 after the supposed installation the installers could not close the door to the dishwasher. At that point they disconnected and removed everything and hurriedly left without explanation. We found out shortly thereafter that they had cut the pipe to the garbage disposal leaving it exposed and open; and sealed off another pipe. Why? I dont know but subsequently I soon had a flood under my cabinet to my sink causing more damage. On12/20/16 more technicians came to install but said they werent able and I would have to call a plumber. After many complaints to manager after manager to this date I have received no compensation for this stress, no dishwasher installed and no compensation for my trouble. I was told I would have to hire a plumber and pay for it outright before I would be reimbursed for anything. I would not trust Home Depot install anything or be of much help if something goes wrong. They shifted the blame to the subcontractors and left me hanging . OK I can put in a claim but only after an output of a couple thousand dollars to fix my floors, and hire a plumber to do the job they could not do after multiple attempts. Its been 2 months and I sill have a hole in my kitchen where a dishwasher should have been. Will not buy any large items ever again from this company or have them do any kind of work in my home and I will be sharing my story everywhere I go.

Recently purchased a refrigerator at this store, it was delivered Wednesday, July 2. Upon arrival, it was "DOA" dead on arrival. Phoned Whirlpool who said it must run for 24 hours before they will issue a repair ticket. Explained that after running for 5 hours, there was no sign of any cooling. They said, "has to run 24 hours" before they will initiate a repair. NO HELP at all! The next day phoned the Home Depot store, explained the situation and explained had family coming for the 4th and had lots of meat to grill. The assistant store manager immediately said, "come to the store, I will give you a floor model as a loaner until Whirlpool takes care of your problem. Within approximately 2 hours, 2 local home depot store employees brought us a "loaner" refrigerator. WOW what great customer service. I have already told many people, family and friends about this great customer service. I will continue to tell my story. I phoned Whirlpool the next day. Told them the refrigerator was warmer in the refrigerator than my house. I was told to ask for "Home Depot Assistance". They could not have been more helpful. Very quickly they said, "what would you like for us to do". I said, "would like a new replacement refrigerator". It is to be delivered the first of the week. You have my business!!!!! Your personnel are fantastic.

A decent Home Depot. I walked up and down the electrical aisle trying to find flex tubing and sheathing. There was a worker in the aisle organizing something on a rack, for close to 15 minutes. He never once acknowledged me or asked if he could help me find anything. Ha! Hilarious. And I dont know why, but this store lets people walk their dogs in the store. When I was coming out of an aisle, walking behind a man with a big dog on a leash, the dog turns the corner, erupts in barking, and starts dragging this old chap across the slick floor. There was a girl coming down the main front aisle with her own big dog, who was doing the same thing. The dogs wanted to tangle and fight. Both owners were yanking, hollering, and slip-sliding on the slick floor. Hilarious. You simply must visit this Home Depot. The workers in the garden center are the most polite.

My French Doors broke and could not be repaired because the company that made them are no longer in business. I went to Millworks at Home Depot and talked with Andrew Chwat. We setup a time for someone to come out to make some measurements. He came out in two days. The door was a 3 door system. Andrew pulled together 4 different door plans for me from sliding glass doors to French doors and. emailed me all the plans. I went back into the store and he help me pick out the hardware and finalize which door to pick out. Andrews customer service was great. It was great to have such good customer service from Home Depot. I will always use them in the future.

Probably the best HD I ever been in as far as helpful staff. I visited a couple days before xmas, so it was busy. I had two people help me in the power tools section and they spend time helping me make a decision. The lady at check out was also great and helped me use a gift card that was difficult. My experience over the years with HD is that if you are not a contractor or making a huge purchase, the customer is largely ignored or talked down to. Not here. I live less than three miles from a HD, but will now travel ten to come and shop here.

You had to personally know an employee to get any help. After walking back and forth trying to find something yesterday evening around 5 pm a lady finally asked if she could help. I know at least 3 employees were having personal conversation with patrons unrelated to HD. I am not kidding but the lady at the register knew the folks behind me in line and tried rush me while I was paying with a card. I felt like a nuisance to pretty much every employee I encountered.

"Welcome to home depot" and "Can I help you find something" gets really annoying after about the 20th time!!! No. Not really. I love it. That NEVER gets old. When you shop at home depot naturally your expectations are that you wont get that small town hardware store service and attention but this place has that service nailed. The selection isnt as great at the moment, maybe it being a new store and no tool rental. So for that Im deducting a star.

Extremely rude management. I always see them yelling at their cashiers. One time, I saw a cashier returning paint from her register to the paint counter, and her manager Michael started screaming at her to go back to her register. She looked absolutely terrified.

The level of customer service here ranges. For my most recent experience, it was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Someone needs to better train and inform their entire staff when it comes to credit and services offered. What a cluster.

Its a nicely stocked Home Depot. It can be pretty tough to get help around there, though. Its not a huge deal at all, but its a noticeable difference to the one up in Dahlonega where theyll ask if you need help just from you looking at the aisle signs.
