Thieves! I have been going to this store for years. Two weeks ago, I came in to purchase a lace front wig. The wig I wanted that was displayed was $120. It was a 1B 30 color. The rep said they only had solid colors as I wanted a 1B/27. I asked to see a 1 to see if it would work for me. I decided to purchase the 1. I got so many compliment I wanted to buy two more. I called and asked could they order a 1B 27 for the style I liked. They said I could do a $20 deposit but they had a 1B/30 in stock. I didnt even think it was the same 1B/30 that was previously displayed 2 weeks prior. I went to the store to place the order but I was in a hurry so I bought the 1B/30 full price, not opening the box. HUGE MISTAKE. I tried the wig on at home and it looked dusty and old. The curls were flat and frizzy. I immediately knew it was the wig that was displayed when I bought the 1. As I remember walking in seeing that they had a 1 vs 1B/30 that was displayed 2 weeks prior. Those that wear wigs know that the wig gets worn from clients toughing it and trying it on. I called the store and they told me to come in to talk about it. The manager argued me down that it was a new wig. So I made her get a 1 color...brand new so I could see it to compare to the one they sold me. When I laid the new wig by the one I bought 24 hours before, there was a HUGE difference. She asked did I wear the wig I bought outside. That didnt matter as Remi hair would not look dull and frizzy after 24 hours. On top of that, when I looked at the box the wig I bought came in, someone wrote on the box to change it from 1 to 1B/30. But they failed to update 2 areas on the box that had the original new wig color as a 1. So they added to the 1.....a letter B. So I had a box that had 2 different colors noted on it..... 1 and 1b/30. The handwriting was so neat that anyone could have missed it. The manager proceeded to imply I put something on the wig. I was furious! I had 911 on my cell ready to call the police. When I laid the wig I was sold next to the new wig, the comparison was horrible and obvious. The manager ended it with saying she was going to send the 1B 30 I bought back to the company as it was not their fault. I have NEVER seen such shadiness from a beauty supply store. I never in my life bought hair that had the color number written in. I remember the wig clearly as I touched it and stared at it for several minutes 2 weeks prior. When the wig assistant showed me the new wig and how the curls hung I was sold. So to come back two weeks later and be sold the same wig that was worn out on display was distasteful. They dont know if people that tried on the wig had nasty hair or not. just plain NASTY. they let me exchange after a heated dispute and threats to call the police. I spent $150 the previous day. I told the manager that I will NEVER shop their again and will tell everyone I know not to shop there as they sell high end wigs that have been used and expect people to be dumb enough not to see the difference. If you want to or continue to shop at this store, CHECK EVERY ITEM YOU BUY NO MATTER THE COST. As this store has no integrity when it comes to business. Its all about the sale....not the people that have been loyal clients for years.

Very disappointed with how my situation was handle! I purchased 3 eyeliners on my lunch break ran to this store with only my wallet and cell purse was left at work. I was looking for these ballerina shoes that I purchased before but they didnt have my size been to this store many of time but not anymore this was about the principle and not the money because it was a small about, after purchasing the liners she gave me a small white bag which I never looked into the bag until I back to work to put them into my purse and found 2 eyeliners and a ink pen which I never seen before I called them for them to say we will check and call you back, they called and left a message saying that I got all my liners which I didnt so when I got off of work went right over there because this is only across the street but couldnt stay because I had an appointment, but still was saying I got all three which I never did so I then asked for my money back for just the two I had because I will never come her again she tells me they dont return money just store credit I told her this is crazy and she can keep my $5 and I will never come here again and that they are thiefs... I will express my feelings to whomever I speak too.... DONT LIKE HOW THEY HANDLED IT POOR SERVICE FOR SURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They have everything you need; however, their prices are WAYYYY TOO HIGH. They would sell way more items if they lowered their prices to something more practicle. Ex. The faux dread crochet 12 pack is like $11. You need at least 8 packs for a full head of faux dreads. You do the math. Plus they are making it impossible for stylist to make money with the prices that they have for hair. The store is nice but because of their high prices Id rather travel to a beauty supply store in Riverdale. If youre the owner/worker of Beauty World.. Gone ahead and make a change before majority of your clientele (and we all know who that is) gets with a new program.

Worked here for a few months ...restaffing definitely needs to be taken into consideration. Randi is very rude and unprofessional I came to work for them after managing a hair store in Kansas City for over 3 years and the staffing is the cause of their horrible reviews...you live and you learn.

Take your service else where!!! From the time my mother, sister, & I walked in the door, one of the workers followed us. She walked up on my mother twice to see what she was getting & me once. We did not buy anything. Smh

Honest review- I think the main issue is the sarcastic tone of the staff. They are certainly not customer focused. I guess it meets the golden standard of terrible service in south atlanta!

I like the store. So kindness and if they dont have a stock, they order for personally . It takes 2 to 3 days without any extra charges.
