The service at the Fairburn location was horrible! First, my team and I called ahead of time and were told that well be seated at a corner table to be able to conduct our breakfast meeting. When we arrived , our table was taken and in addition we had to wait for 30 minutes. After we were seated service seemed ok, it was not until I received my pancakes and eggs that there was a problem. There was hair in my eggs!! I gently told the waitress and she took my plate and I guess informed the manager ,who introduced herself minutes later. The apology did not seem genuine, but I understand she was just doing her job. She asked if there was anything she can do , and I informed her yes, just give me a plate without hair in it. I received my second plate of eggs, I thought I was going crazy, because thwre was once again HAIR in my eggs. I was livid! I showed the waitress and she took my plate quickly , this time the manager didnt even come over- but only spoke to the waitress. What kind of service is being ran here? Does the staff wear hair nets? That should have been addressed the first time because obviously the person making eggs is shedding hair in consumers food. I will never go to this location nor any other cracker barrel for this reason. I also sent a message via internet and have yet to get a response. 0 stars in my vote Sincerely , Displeased costumer

Every time I go to this Cracker Barrel, they would screw up my order. I am so tired of going back a second time to correct them. I ordered a veggie omelette (tomatoes, onions, green peppers) with mushrooms thats extra cost! I noticed that I didnt has mushrooms when arriving home. But I saw they did not charge me. So I cut half of it open, and I saw cheese onions, and tomatoes. I didnt want cheese. But I kept eating, them I notice that I was chewing on something hard. Looks like they gave me the first layer of the onion. But I kept eating. At the end of the omelette, there was a piece of bacon =-O! Really! Only at the end of my omelette! I was pretty upset! I also, ordered some moon pies. The cashier said it was 2 for 1, but the charge me 2 for 2, SMH! I am so done with this particular Cracker Barrel! They brought our coffee in a dirty mug. When we pointed it out, the waitress said not to worry about it, because the grime on the mug came from the tray she was carrying it on. My spoon had leftover grits (presumably from the previous patron) dried to it. The eggs were undercooked, and had shells in them. We sent them back, and we received more undercooked eggs with shells in them. The sausage was cold, tough, stale, and had the consistency of leftovers. The grits clearly were old, as you could poke them with your finger without penetrating them. I demonstrated it to the waitress, who took them away, and brought another bowl of cold pokeable/non-penetrable grits. Overall, the experience here was horrendous to say the least. I DO NOT recommend anyone eat here. If you find yourself hungry enough to eat here... do yourself a favor and just continue to be hungry.

I always get great service but I usually eat in. Today was particularly different Because I placed an order for pick up. A couple minutes into ordering I realized I couldve gotten double dumplings as thats what I anticipate most about my chicken fried chicken meal,there are three sides that come with the meal I asked could my mashed potatoes be changed out for double dumplings Im told its already packed and ready to go, do I want to add on the dumplings for an additional fee and all Im trying to do is change out one for another before I can answer he rudely says yes or no? I just said forget it. There is no way people should be that rude to their customers and think theyll continue to get business. Something that couldve been so simple was something turned difficult. They wont be getting anymore of my money thats for sure,.

Im always torn when I visit here. The food is good but service needs help. Never had a bad server. Maybe I always choose the wrong time to dine (just after a rush or right before the next). Wait times to be seated is always minimal when I go, but for whatever reason, it takes a while before a server comes. My last few visits, the managerial staff have always been in the back working (all hands on deck is good, right???). I continue to go here out of convenience and my love for the menu options. Im a country girl that wont eat lima beans just ANYwhere! Breakfast and veggies any time of day is a winner. If you dont mind waiting...this is the place for you. Have a snack before you go. Bring family (not hungry babies, though) and have family discussions to take your mind off the wait.

Went in around 830PM to have dinner. We were sat pretty quickly but no one ever came to even ask us if we wanted drinks. My wife said something to one of the waiters but they didnt seem to care. After almost 30 minutes and the table that was sat after us being served drinks and their orders taken within 5 minutes of sitting down we got up and left. I have never just left after being sat but this was the worst. Who ever is managing this place needs to be fired or retrained on how to run a restrauant because they dont have a clue. The worst part about it was that they werent even busy. I mean it was almost empty. Oh and yes I gave it one star because it wouldnt let me give any less. I mean how can I rate a place that I didnt even get a glass of water for 30 minutes any better.

Family favorite restaurant. We were excited that a location opened up so close to us. However, the service is always absolutely terrible. Wait staff has a huge attitude problem and only brings out your main dish but no sides. After a portion of your food is brought out, the staff disappear for 30 minutes and never bring out the rest. We recently ate there for the last time when we waited 20 minutes for drinks and an hour for our food and the orders were incomplete. When the waitress finally brought out the rest, she threw the bowls down and rolled her eyes at us. We waited 10 minutes for the manager who was completely incompetent and accused us of being rude/aggressive with the waitress. I encourage all Cracker Barrel lovers to avoid this location at all costs.

I have been to this location twice and BOTH times were a bad experience! I went yesterday...waited over 10 minutes to be greeted and get my drink (mind you it was 6:35pm and the restaurant was NOT busy).....I had to get up and go back to the host and ask WHO IS MY WAITER??? then ended up with the same waiter that decided to clean off tables instead of seeing if I had been helped...The manager came over and proceeded to explain why the hiccup happen instead of trying to make my experience better and he didnt understand why I was aggravate by this??? To make matters worst they brought my food out and the chicken and dumplings were cold! SMH I just ate as quick as I could , paid and got out of there!
