NEVER AGAIN!!!! The manager (and several of the staff) at this store is not very friendly. They act almost like you are bothering them. It would kill them to smile. I called ahead one day because I wanted to donate a high end (Ethan Allan) bedroom suite.(WITHOUT THE OLD MATTRESS just a solid wood bedroom suite.) The man on the phone told me I had to bring someone with me to unload it and bring it in. I told him I didnt have anyone , but myself and he told me not to bring it! I asked why he couldnt help me and he said. "Sorry, cant help you, take it somewhere else." WTH???? (I know who the man who answered the phone was because I go there a lot. He is a very tall man who is very overweight. But not disabled and capable of helping. They also have men who work in the back.) I used to donate a lot of clothing and household items to them. Now I take my donations, and my business to the ATLANTA UNION MISSION Thrift or the new ST VINCENT DE PAUL thrift stores. They are in the same area (within half a mile)They are extremely and sincerely friendly. They have better inventory, furniture and clothing than the Restore anyway. Plus they restock more quickly than Restore. If I went to the Restore and came back two weeks later they had the very same crappy stuff.

I saw this and had to add my review. I had a similar experience as the other reviews. I was also turned down over the phone when asking about donating a piece of furniture. I was told to bring help or forget about it. I also purchased a piece of furniture there once (and only once because my experience was so bad) and couldnt get any help getting it out of the door much less to my vehicle parked out front. The MANAGEMENT is AWFUL! The previous manager was much more pleasant than the sour puss who is there now. Not worth the negative vibe. Maybe these people should be in another line of work. You should be nice and helpful when people are giving you their money.

We changed our minds on donating a nice sectional after they called us 2 hours after the scheduled pick up time stating that "the day had just gotten away" from them and that they had another big pickup. Hello!!! You just wasted our time! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Also, we donated another sofa and chaise to them about a year ago which was not a great experience. They showed up late for the pickup and the appearance of the driver and helper was unsatisfactory (dirty and disheveled). DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

This is a hidden treasure of Commerce! Many boutiques will donate their clothing items that dont sell, so you can get brand new $60 dresses for only $3-5! They also typically have a very good selection of furniture at this location! If you dont see something youre looking for, ask because they have a lot stored in the back!

This use to be absolutely the best place to shop. Now the management has made this a place to pass by.
