Amazon is the way!!! My child was buying AP Bio (Kaplan) & she was paying with her own money, she raised by selling home made cookies (delish too). So I suggest her to see if B&N have students discount. When we checked if they gave students discount? The lady on counter said nope. I ask why? Ms Liza Said half of Athens is students. So if we do, we gone give away half of our store for free. I never heard of 50% student discount anywhere yet then how come she claimed giving away half the store?? I had to remind her that mist of those student are your potential customers but she seems care less with sweet smile. Amazon for me from now on…

I love walking into a bookstore and being surrounded by books. I remember Borders, but they went out of business. Books is a tough business, but B&N does it well. Looking at the books is always entertaining. I usually come out of B&N with a book or magazine.

Its th only bookstore in Athens (except for College ones). Great place to have coffee, work, study or relax. Nice book selection. I feel that with another bookstore, or more competition, that the book selection would be better though.

I went here to find board games. I called ahead and was told they had a ton of games and when I got there there didnt seem to be a whole lot. Staff was friendly and helpful though. Nice place to get a coffee too.

Nothing beats walking into a bookstore and being surrounded by books. You can find books for cheaper online, but you lose the experience. This is a nice bookstore and I always come out with a few books in hand.
