The New Balance 806 is supposed to be the same last as the 804, which I wore for years until I could no longer get them. Ive worn this pair 3 times and wont wear them again. First of all, my feet are on fire, theyre so hot and sweaty and its not even warm out yet. They do not breathe at all. I have to change my socks multiple times during a match and still get blisters from the soaking wet socks. Second, the heel cup is about 1/4 " shorter than the 804s, which is causing my heel to slip up and down because its not secure and I cant tighten them up enough even with making the extra loops at the top to stop the slipping. This is causing me pain above my Achilles. Third, they are not as supportive in the front. Fourth, if you compare shoe to shoe, the materials are all different. Im sure NB would say they are improved. They should be; theyre charging more per pair than for the 804s. Also, inside the tongue, they say Made in Indonesia. My last pair of 804s say Made in China. I guess theyre not Made in the USA after all. Time to look for a different brand after all these years of wearing NB.

There are only great things I can say about New Balance Alpharetta. I never write reviews for anything, but the guys at NB were polite and knowledgeable. My family and I will never get our shoes from anywhere else. Thanks to Matt and the NB team for giving us an experience we will never forget.

Mark is every bit as helpful as others have stated. He fit us in the proper fits and went over the difference in technology and support for each shoe. I probably asked too many ?s but he answered all of them with a smile. As long as Mark is here I will return every time.
