Came here for a steak for NYE. The guy behind the counter seemed pretty knowledgable and recommended the rib-eye for $19.99/lb. He only had larger steaks, which wasnt ideal since we also had lobster and scallops for our NYE dinner, but he explained that they couldnt cut them smaller and we understood. We ended up spending $40 on a steak for 2, which is expensive, but he raved about it so I thought it would be worth it. He also gave us some pointers on how we should cook it. There was a second person behind the counter that didnt hesitate to comment on how he thought my boyfriend was a wimp because he didnt want to purchase a 2 lb. steak for just the 2 of us. It was completely rude and unprofessional. Truthfully, the steak looked beautiful. My boyfriend and I both like a rare steak, so we cooked it appropriately to our liking, while also taking the butchers suggestions into account. I was incredibly disappointed by the texture of the steak. It was tough and chewy. I am being completely honest when I say that my jaw was sore from chewing this steak. I wouldnt have minded paying the $40 for a steak that was worth it, but I was so disappointed. My disappointment combined with the completely rude comments made by one of their employees made my experience here a disaster. We will not be returning and I will discourage any friends who suggest going here.

Exquisite; the only way you could compare this to anything around here is imported Kobe wagyu from Australia/japan...and that is just as good but more money so for the price, cannot be beat here. I will be back. Also, note that I just bought a New York strip; only a 13.00 dollar piece of meat. Not even top of the line out of their selection and it still blew my mind....
