I ate here a couple of times during my stay in the hotel next door. The food was the usual good-but-not-great each time, which is acceptable to me. The service here is also on the average side. They seem to stay pretty busy throughout the day which isnt surprising considering the large outlet mall next door and being right off the highway - that and the only competition being the god-awful McDonalds and a Steak-n-Shake next to them. The waitstaff is your typical group of high school/college-aged girls and a handful of 50+ year old women. Not one of my visits could earn a 4 or 5 star rating, but Ill survive. I must mention, though, that the biggest surprise (or disappointment) was the manager who stands there playing on his phone in plain view of everybody, instead of helping his staff. I didnt catch a glimpse of his name tag but hes a tall, portly guy. I only saw him there on 2 of my visits but he stood in the same spot doing the same thing both times. Overall, its a Cracker Barrel. Youll get what you expect. And if you happen to eat a little too much, you can sit outside in a rocking chair to relax until feeling better.

The usually reliable Cracker Barrel came up quite short tonight. I ordered biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs and bacon. Basic breskfast food. The gravy was crusted over from sitting under the heat lamp, bacon was hard, old and disgusting. The eggs were cold. Overall gross and barely edible. On top of that the waitress nauseatingly kept saying "honey, sweetie, baby" througout our stay but couldnt bring herself to ask how the meal was because she knew it was gross - or should have just looking at it. A good waitress would never serve it. They would have requested a fresh meal be prepared. And 2.19 to get coffee with one refill in an hour and a half. Defintely not a good experience for me. I gave three stars instead of one or two only because my husbands meal was good according to him - he had a rueben. So if they cant handle the large number of patrons on a Friday night snd sacrifice the quality then the Vero Beach site has lost a customer.

Really, whats not to like? We all go there sooner or later. Its a bit like dying - you just have to choose what side of the dining room you want to be on, or youll get stuck in the store forever. Ok, Im playing a bit. I love their store, enjoy the food and the service has (almost always) been exemplary. I know this is Florida, but I miss the fires. Its just not the same here. But, Cracker Barrel, why oh why do you serve the most bitter tasting coffee? I LOVE your chicken and dumplings. I LOVE your hash brown potatoes bake. My eggs are always the way I ask for them (usually scrambled or fried over medium)... So, why cant a place that is celebrated for good ol hometown food make a decent cup of coffee that I dont have to dilute or add creamer and sugar until I have diabetes from it? Yall need a new brewer. Something.... Ok, Ill stick with the tea here too.

For what it is, a country food and family get-together place, it is a 5 star for quality, value, consistency, and cleanliness. It only gets 4 stars because it is what you see, as a comfort food place, so the limitation is only relative to other choices one has when selecting restaurants. For travelers, it is an interstate brand no less recognizable than traveling on an Interstate Highway, always a safe respite on otherwise tedious Interstate mileage. And no less a great break from the ordinary. Prices have risen a bit over the years, but the quality and quantity have stayed pretty constant. I especially like to meet folks for lunch or dinner meetings when I want to embody the thrift and homespun values of what the chain represents with the tone of the meeting. May they prosper and grow.

Wtf really. Ok so we sit order drinks then wait 15 mins for hot tea a coke and hot chocolate. Ok then our server ginger didnt know the prices of the appetizers but we ordered grilled chicken tenders that never came. So 35 mins later we get our bread, salads ooh yah and food all at once. The bread and salads should have been there first but no we had to hurry up and eat so it didnt get cold. I was so hungry i was getting a head ache. And the only reason we even got our salads 10 seconds before our food was because of another server that hear us bishin so ran inside to get them for us. Really that sucked. Not to mention its cold af inside. Im not going back there EVER......

The food is always good and the unsweet tea is freshly brewed and perfect! I will keep coming back!

I ordered the cracker barrel sampler and the food was not pleasant. Fries tasted like they been sitting fornmore than an hour. Didnt get my ham that was supposed to come with it. i had to tell the waitress that i had missing ham. Meatloaf wasnt good at all. We all at the table left our leftovers on the table and didnt ask for a box, since the food wasnt all that appetizing.

The food is good, not a big fan of the seating, every time I go here I always have some old people staring over at me and my father, and this happens everytime. They also like to pack people close together, even when they are dead they still like to crowd people. If you dont like the crowds or being stared at while you eat I wouldn t recommend going here.

Food was good, but order was taken wrong and server disappeared for long periods. Small plate of biscuit and corn muffin for our group, smaller than usual for cracker barrel. Greeter and cashier were not overtly rude but were not friendly either. By far the least Cracker Barrel-like experience Ive ever had at one of their restaurants. Unimpressed.

I just like Cracker Barrel restaurants. I find the variety on their menus great and you cannot beat their prices. One thing you will notice in Cracker Barrell Restaurants are that a lot of BIG people eat there and when you see the size of the meals they dish out you will see why. I again just like Cracker Barrel and use them a lot

Eggs were way undercooked, hash brown casserole was overpowered with onion powder, the breakfast meats were extremely salty, biscuits and gravy were bland and grits were a weird gray color and bland. This was the first time ordering their breakfast, I may just stick to lunch foods from there when traveling.

Cracker Barrel is definitely a staple item for road trips or visiting family. There is something for everyone. This location paticularly is clean and staff is friendly. Great for large family breakfast or dinner for two on Sunday when they make a great fried chicken dinner you have to try for yourself!
