Shipped a package from here to back home in Wisconsin. Item arrived busted. It was a Christmas gift. Employees were friendly however now that the package is going through the claims process - they have gone off the radar ignoring my emails to this store, to the manager, Ms. Willis. I emailed her on the 8th of Feb and the 16th of Feb. Neither got a response. Clearly it appears to me - they dont want to do any more lifting on dealing with the issue with UPS. Never mind the item broken was $90 from Sarasota Salvage - an architech salvage store that I had to drive to twice with regards to this issue. Add in the cost of shipping of approx $30. Add in my sisters efforts to keep leaving the damaged box outside her house and on top of that my brother in law drove the box to the UPS station in Milwaukee only to be told, they would not accept the damaged box there. I kept getting bounced between corporate and the UPS Store. It didnt seem either knew what the other was doing. The UPS driver in Milwaukee took 2 weeks to pick up the box. Ive probably got $300 or more dollars of my time and money into this and still nobody has done anything to resolve the matter. Considering my shipping options are Fedex and the hopeless postal service, Im pretty much high and dry. Next step will be filing a complaint with BBB. Im guessing UPS has more damaged boxes during Christmas than any time of year so they try to deny as many claims as possible to keep their costs down. Think about it, you have drivers doing more volume than any time of year, theyre out there hustling and probably throwing the boxes around more than usual, hence more broken items. Thats just my personal theory. I normally go out of my way to compliment good businesses, this doesnt appear to be one of them worthy of that praise yet.

The correct times for regular business hours are as followed: -Monday-Friday, the store is open from 8:00am to 6:30pm, but the last driver pick-up is at 5:30pm. -Saturday, the store is open from 9:30am to 3:00pm. Only Next Day Air and 2-Day Air packages will be shipped on this day. -Closed on Sunday ***During the Holiday season (beginning in December), the business hours are extended: -Monday-Friday, open 8:00am to 7:00pm -Saturday, open 9:00am to 3:30pm This store also offers many other convienent services: -Able to mail/ship through US Post Office -BW & Color Printing -Mailbox services with 24/7 access -Faxing -Notary -Freight shipping -Shredding Located on the corner of S. Howard and Swann, right next to Panera/Great Clips and across the street from CVS!

It pains me to give them a 1 star rating because that might suggest that they actually earned a star. Donald in particular possesses horrible interpersonal skills & charged me a ridiculous additional fee for "packaging" (i.e. putting things into a box & sealing it) despite my request to ship my item the cheapest way possible. I easily could have packaged this item myself if I knew he was going to tax on this hidden fee but could not even protest the injustice as there was a line of customers (or next victims) behind me. Not only will I avoid this store at all cost but I now would hesitate to use any UPS store for fear of the same treatment.

As any smart consumer would I called to inquire about box rental rates before making a decision. Lets just say Im glad I saved the gas. Obie answered the phone sounding like the morning after the night before. In response to my inquiry about box rental fees, he stated that he did not have all day to quote those to me due to factors such as distance, weight, packaging... (Now I am truly wondering if this is a case of tmatnb or just plain rudness!) I repeated that I was inquiring about b-o-x r-e-n-t-a-l fees and could hear the crickets singing... Needless to say by this time my decison was made. NOT!

I highly recommend looking for another facility to use. The staff is rude, borderline confrontational and unwilling to help resolve issues. They prefer to play the blame game and direct you to UPS customer service who will then direct you to Mail Boxes Etc. customer service (because this is a franchise) who will tell you that you need to deal with the store to resolve any problems. Go elsewhere!! The other comments posted note that Obie and Denis provided poor customer service – well I dealt with Don who was equally awful. There seems to be a management problem in this store….

Had a great experience here yesterday. The guy that helped me was named Matt. He was very friendly and took some extra time to get me the right size package that I needed. He even helped me fit some of the items in my box. I actually ended up opening a box here because it was just a good experience. You can save a little money by buying your tape at a dollar store or something, but overall this was my best experience with packages. I have to send a ton of packages for my business and I like having a go-to place for my shipping.

Wow. I cant believe that I paid $36 for shipping an identical package that I could pay $10 thru my UPS online service. This is a ripoff store. Sorry but this is not the first time I have experienced this kind of gauging at this location. Hence my 2 cents worth. Hopefully you swonjt make the same mistake.

Spoke to an associate there about setting up a temp mail box. She was extremely helpful and awesome attitude!!!! I like this, only issue was you have to pay a minimum of 3 months for a mailbox, which we can only need for a few weeks, $75.00 yikes

never call for a quote over the phone,, 40 dollar shipping turned out to be 48, packing turned out to be double, How can you screw that up? The item I was shipping was still the same weight and dimensions, I cant work with such incompetence
