I decided to try this place since its closer to me than where i normally go. Staff were very nice but i noticed no one in the back had gloves on. Also they had a big freezer full of frozen meat that was brown. I understand they freeze it before it goes bad but they were still the same price for being "almost bad" meat. Then i also noticed some of the fresh packaged steaks were browning and had a clear shiny film substance on them. They didnt have any fresh fruit or vegetables aside from pre packaged potatoes and lettuce. Lastly, the prices were not much lower than grocery stores. I got a small t bone steak for $7. Probably wont go back here. Brandon meats is by far the best place to buy your meats.

I have been looking for a good butcher shop...so I gave this place a chance, and I am so disappointed so far. I bought their homemade hot and mild sausage. It has no flavor....awful really...it went into the trash. Last night I made the chuck roast like I always cook,(12.00 of meat) in the oven with liquid covered with foil, mushrooms,potatoes etc...One bite and the whole piece of meat went into the trash as well. It was beyond dry! It also had a very strange gamie taste to it..?? I have another 150.00 worth of chicken, pork chops and ribeyes in the freezer and I am thinking I made a huge mistake in buying any quantities before trying. Do yourself a favor and skip this place!

I dont normally write reviews but this was needed. I live just down the street from this place and didnt go in for 2 years because of the outside appearance. Finally decided to go in after Winn dixie took over sweetbay and ruined the meat. There is no other place you could possibly go to shop unless you went to cacciatore brothers on the other side of Tampa. The meat here is priced better than anywhere else at anytime ive ever been, and it is more tender when cooked. Simply put....if you want the best bang for your buck for some quality meat....go here. Will never buy from a grocery chain again.

Everythings is wonderful. Im new to the area & its right next door. I was nervous about getting some ground beef so the owner gave me a pound free! The ground beef was always fresh & it was delicious! I got some ground beef from the meat market off of Busch & it was so gritty! Never ever again will I go to any meat market other then Quality! I love Quality Meat Market & will always go back. They always make me feel like Im at home & very friendly!!! I wish they were open seven days a week & have longer hours due to my work schedule!

Very accomodating. We were in florida for a pig hunt and Gary went out of his way to work with our schedule to process our pigs. Their processing rates are much lower than Wisconsin deer processing. We got brats, italian sausage and breakfast links and they all taste great. Thanks!

A delicious and cheaper alternative to the mainstream chain grocery stores. I live in St. Petersburg but work in Tampa and still have yet to find another meat market close to where I live as good as this one, so I go out of my way after work to come here since its so good.
