Honestly, this is this the first beauty supply store that Ive been to that has everything I need in one location, from nail polish,lace wigs, to a beauty salon right inside the store! The walls of the store are literally jam-packed with hair, so whether Im on a budget or ready to splurge, I always leave with what I need and more. Recently, I purchased a few bundles of Virgin Brazilian Hair from Elegant, and I got a better deal from the store than what i would have been paying online. I was skeptical at first due to the previous reviews, but from my personal experience, the employees were pretty cordial and ready to assist me; I didnt have to search for someone when i had a question, because they were always nearby ready to help...which is a good thing considering how HUGE the store is! As a college student, I appreciate that they have sales very often, including student and stylist discounts and price-matching, which is convenient due to all the other beauty supply stores in the area "promising" you the best price. I was a regular at the Elegant stores in South Florida, and this one in Tampa is definitely keeping up with their stores reputation of quality. I would DEFINITELY recommend Elegant Beauty Supplies to women (and men) in Tampa as it is the cleanest, largest, and most welcoming one Ive been to in the area.

LADIES LOOK NO FUTHER!!! This Beauty Store or should I say Beauty Supercenter is all a woman needs from Hair extensions, color, wigs, Cosmetics, and a Large line of Professional Products and the Best Part!! YOU DONT EVEN NEED A LICENSE TO PURCHASE. Most places to get your hands on these great professional products you need a License. But the Customer Service is by far the best. The girls there know there stuff and are so helpful and Patient. You dont have to worry someone breathing down your neck or watching you as if you are a criminal. And im not even Done. The prices are the BEST! $$$$ You would think it would be very expensive by walking into the place but No way! I always get there Sale Flyer in the Mail and it always gets better and better! ELEGANT HAS A RETURN CUSTOMER

Worst service EVER!!! Im standing in line, waiting patiently for my turn, get ready to pay, and a customer out of NO where comes up to ask a question, and this simpleton in front of me, leaves me to help the other customer!!! I was so dumb founded, I just turned around and politely left the establishment. Ooh NOT before the brother in front of me with the ponytail and arched eyebrows did his solo at the register to some ratchet rap song playing on the radio. Hood & ghetto employees, which is ashame in such a nice and clean establishment. Do a secret shopper on these clowns and see how much business is walking out your doors. NEVER AGAIN!!! And my whole team hate their time being wasted, so word of mouth is a killer these days. Fire those clowns, and save your business!!!

I have to say this is one of the greatest beauty supply store, this place is like Walmart they have everything you need, the nice lady with red hair was very helpful. she took her time and explain to me about every little detail that i need to know about the hair im buying, the extension selections here is awesome!! There is so much human hair i couldnt believe it! I love my beautiful 22 in. extensions ! The best part about it , is that it didnt cost an arm and a leg for good quality hair and I also bought a hair curler. I loved the variety of EVERYTHING in the store ! This is the place for all your hair needs at a low price and great selection and the best customer service ever !

This place is phenomenal. You dont need a license to purchase items and the staff is extremely nice and helpful. I had such a wonderful experience that I am writing this review in the parking lot of the store. I went in to get material to color my own hair with professional products. The staff is super knowledgeable and helped me pick out everything I needed. I cant wait to get home and color my hair! I literally saved $150 by using professional products myself instead of going to the salon. So awesome. Update: I colored my own hair and it turned out beautiful and looked professional! Its been a few months and Im going back today. Seriously, this store is amazing.

I originally gave this store a poor rating as the first time I visited I was treated rudely. Well I got a call from the owner, Mike and he apologized profusely and said he made changes to his staff and management. He offered me a store credit to come back and try them again. I thought this was the best attempt at customer service that I have ever experienced and I will definitely visit again. Once I do, if I am met with friendly service and a well informed staff, then I will return to do another positive review! Thanks.

Absolutely terrible! Although this place is closer to my house, I travel a further distance to get to Peoples Beauty Supply. As soon as you walk in the door they make you feel like a criminal. I dont go shopping if I dont have $$ to spend, Im not there to steal. Standing by the door watching as if everyone is going to steal something, leaving your bag at the counter. Ill pass. Ill take my hard earned $$ elsewhere.

Tampa ladies: Youre better off continuing to go to your Kims Beauty, Fat Boys, Star Beauty, or any other Beauty Supply store you go to. This place may look nice when you walk in but trust their prices are ridiculous and plus they are not customer service friendly. They had wrong price points up and werent willing to honor it when I was paying. Save your gas and your cash.

Been here three times over the past two weeks, great selection of things friendly staff, and very professional. Many supply stores Ive visited was always lacking professionalism, and friendly service. Its nice that these people understand although they are a beauty supply store in a predominately black community its not ran as a swap meet or trap house.
