Food is OK,service a crap shoot. Some managers are top notch and run a tight ship, others are rude and act as if one customers dissatisfaction is no big deal as there is always another who may tolerate questionable silverware, service or incorrect food being served. Their seating is most uncomfortable and have felt rushed on more than one occasion. Breakfast is better if you go very early in the day. However, should you want a specific meal for breakfast you Will Not be accommodated but they will give you a menu choice that is close often with food you dont want or doesnt allow for diet restrictions. In so doing they up charge you for trying to eliminate food in order to get what you prefer. For the record I have never asked for food that is not one of their offerings. They should bill themselves as a country store that serves food instead of the other way around. Their store is a step back in time and their front staff is top notch. As for food prices, I think $20 to $25 for breakfast for two is unreasonable especially considering uncomfortable seating and crowded atmosphere. Also their portions have shrunk over time while price has been increased. I USED to be a satisfied customer though even then not a comfortable customer.

A 40 min wait that we were okay with.... Until we realized that it was for cold hashbrown casserole, cold pancakes, dry french toast, and a rude waitress who would ask a question and not let you respond before she was already walking away. Forget the fact that the food in general tastes mediocre at best. And since when do waitresses take drinks and straws for 4 and set them at the end of the table and just walk away? You could actually hand the drinks to individuals....or at least pass them near each person. What you did isnt really waiting/serving, is it? The entire time time, we were obviously quite the inconvenience to our waitress. My scrambled eggs came over medium. But THAT was promptly taken care of. The only positive, if there was one. Overall, a huge waste of our money and time. It was not a pleasant brunch, whatsoever. It was our first attempt at Cracker Barrel, it will most certainly be our last as well.

The place was not busy as we stopped to eat at 2pm last Saturday. Didnt have to wait and was seated right away. Our server, Candy, took our order; however, another server brought our food and at that time we asked for a couple of extra napkins. We waited for about 10 minutes but still no napkins. Candy never checked back with us to see if everything was okay. We had to "flag" her down and told her that we had asked the other server for napkins. We waited another 10 minutes and finally Candy came with our napkins. She didnt apologize for the wait or the other servers forgetfulness. I could easily understand this lack of service if they were busy, but they were not. This was just plain bad service. BTW, the food was okay.

We always come here with the kids and its not just a meal here, its an experience. The food is always great and they never mind bringing a plate of biscuits out early. The store is awesome and there is always great stuff in it especially for the seasons and the holidays. Its our tradition too, to always play a game of checkers out front before we leave. Im going to have to buy this checkers game from there one day, even though it wont be the same, playing it at home versus outside on those big wooden rocking chairs. All 4 of our kids have thier favorite meals here and we love it!

My husband and I eat here a couple of times every month and we both love it! We may have to put our names on a wait list on the weekends, but we are always seated very quickly. Service is fast and effecient and my hubby can order breakfast while I order an amazing lunch. We order our food and I go shopping in their country store while waiting for the food. They have beautiful clothes for the grandchildren plus so much more! BTW, you always get way more food than you can eat. We end up taking the biscuits and cornbread muffins home with us. Love, love, love it!

Usual experience. Trout good, sides good, biscuits excellent. I feel they are over priced, but I know that going into a Cracker Barrel. I see it as over paying for a nice place to sit w/ consistent experience. Drinking water lops off about $6 compared to 2 sodas/tea w/ tip. Because of higher food prices keeping the bill down a bit means water. I am fine w/ that. Music box playing in store created an annoying buzz/hum in the dining room.

Really decent breakfast place that I often visit. The reason for the ok ratings is that the service can be inconsistent. Most of the time, its ok, but if youre an minority, you will eventually get the usual racist server that will not give you a light of day. This happened to me the visit before my last (yes I came back after my bad experience and got better service this last time)

Not sure why, but every time I come to this location for lunch, the popular Sampler breakfast I consistently get always seems pre-prepared, reheated, and dried out. Its ALWAYS fresher at other locations. After trying several times thinking it may be a fluke, I now realize its probably a cost saving practice at this location and will not come back in the future.

This is country fake food. Unless youre a redneck, or doesnt know how to cook, or both, then this place will always be mediocre to you. I had the grandpa fried platter. This was a joke. Everything was drowning in the white tasteless gravy. Mediocre food at best. If you ought to have breakfast, go to Dennys or IHOP. Pathetic of a place.

Arrived for Sunday lunch and waited a LONG time. The food was mediocre and I was dissappointed to find that you dont get biscuits unless you ask? Our fries were cold and our waitress was very kind to bring us ten more hot ones. Finally got the biscuits and they were the best thing about the meal.
