I brought my Citizen echo drive watch there because it stopped running & I thought it needed a new battery. They charged me $90. for this kind of battery & $15. to replace it. Called me a week later to let know it was done. I went to pick it up & nothing was set. Yes, its difficult to set everything. But I even brought them the book that came w/ my watch to follow the directions & they couldnt do it. I brought it home & called Citizen watch co & the first thing they said to me was, you never have to replace that battery & if I would have put my watch in the sun for a few hrs, it would have been back up running perfect. Citizen walked me through resetting everything step by step & everything was perfect. Just for the heck of it, I looked up the battery for my watch & then I got mad. The battery I was charged $90. for, could be bought for $5. to $10. I charged way too much money for this battery. If it was even replaced. Who knows. Maybe they just put my watch under a light for a few hrs. I definitely would not bring a fancy watch to this place for service. And dont trust what they charge for anymore.

My husband wanted to let me pick out a ring for my 20th anniversary. He researched local jewelers online and suggested I go to Cortes Jewelers. The proprietor was very nice and patient while I looked through his whole catalog of settings because I did not know what I wanted. We then discussed stone options which were based solely on what I told him I liked. He even showed me examples so I would know what the sizes of the stones would be in the ring. He accepted a deposit and told me when it would be ready. When I picked it up, the ring was even better than I anticipated. The owner had delayed an appointment to wait for me so he could make sure I was happy with the result. Every one who has seen it has commented on how beautiful it is. I will be back to do business with this jeweler again in the future.

We got my wedding ring set custom made through Cortes. Ive never designed jewelry before and was a little nervous going in, but all of that vanished after we were greeted and the fun began! It was such a pleasure to work with Helman and was comforting to know the level of detail and perfection he puts into every piece. My rings were done in December but I waited till our wedding in May to see the finished rings in person. It was well worth the wait! My rings are exquisite and I couldnt be happier! Im already coming up with more ideas so Im positive we will be back!

He custom made me a beautiful ring out of some scrap jewelry that I had and just by past experiences I made him test all my diamonds before and after everything came out beautifully he even cleaned my other jewelry when I went to pick my stuff up and while we were there my son seen a cool little gold plated necklace with a bullet on it and he had to have it in he gave me a discount on it since I had had some jewelry fixed previously super personable people and very reasonable. honest and reliable

I got my herring bone sterling silver necklace cut and one of the guys there ,I think his name is Leonardo,he told me that I could make some earrings with what is left. I got four pairs of earrings for a reasonable cost. They were very professional and I will recommend anyone to this place.
