I wont say its Walmart that Im giving this 1 star rating to but its employees. Please keep in mind that I must give it a one star rating as its not equipped to take a zero star rating to be able to place my review. First Id like to start by saying that just because the store is located in the hood doesnt mean its employees must act, think, talk and look hood. And if ur wondering Im black too !! So where do I start .... From the moment you walk in its doors all u see is lazy ass employees whom are constantly on cell phones running the customer service kiosk where you hand over personal information and or the ones at the registers ringing up orders. So with that being said ... WARNING CONSUMERS !!!! Do not shop here!!!! You are risking your identity be stolen as these idiots sit there handling you personal accounts at the kiosk with bluetooths in their ears and heavens knows who on the other side taking note. Did we not learn anything from the overwhelming tax fraud in Florida ??? In addition this store not only needs employees with work ethics but also managers who care. Its upsetting to see that while I choose Walmart to spend my hard earned cash its employees treat people with racism and can never help u locate the item you are looking for. The managers simply walk around the store as if this is a damn fashion show instead of managing the ratchet ass employees they hire. ATTENTION WALMART HEAD QUARTERS !!! Get your store and bring it up to standards because ALL associates (managers included) at this location are GARBAGE !! And in due time will cause u to loose customers once and for all!! Please keep in mind that the employees you hire represent your brand !! The hiring managers at this store deserve the big boot for they have FAILED TO DO THEIR JOBS !! Boycotting this location for sure !! And possible all other Walmarts !! Target Super Center here I come !!! Maybe a drive from where I live but I dont have to deal with ratchetness and or dumbasses that dont know where the hell anything is located and have little dirsregard for customer privacy laws !!

Ive worked here for a couple months transferring from another store. Its pretty ok, but like many other stores it all matters on who you ask for help. Many associates are helpful while others are complete jack-holes. Here are a few tips to make your shopping experience better then just low prices: -When you check out, make sure you walk the entirety of the checkout area, as some of the registers are hidden. DONT come to the garden center with two carts full of groceries. We HATE that! - If something has a price on it/next to it, it is THAT price unless it is actually cheaper. Thats company policy until otherwise stated. Also, if you see the same item cheaper somewhere else, all you have to do is tell the cashier at checkout. It is company policy that we honor your word and will charge that price. Be nice and well do it no questions asked. Be a jerk, well call a manager to deal with your problem. - Dont dump out other peoples carts, even if it belongs to an associate. Ask first, well always empty it out. - Lastly, if you need to ask an associate something, dont walk up and just start talking as if we were automatons. Say hi or excuse me. Its so incredibly rude and makes me feel even more worthless than I already feel. Thanks for reading! PS: The guy buying the ammo is correct. There is no federal wait on ammunition. BUT sales associates do hold the right to refuse any sale of ammunition.

I only go here because its the closest to my home, and open 24-7... I have lived in this area for over 5 yrs now and ONLY go there because its close and open forever. I prefer after 9:PM, as all the stockers in the grocery area are out restocking shelves, so I know if I DO need some help or guidance, at those times I can get it, BUT, only in grocery areas. Night shift= Skeleton crew for rest of the store. Daytime hours, GOOD LUCK trying to find some help in ANY department. You need to send out a search party for any help. If you do find someone, usual answer I get is, "its not my department", OR , " I DONT KNOW ". Shop there at your own risk. Their attitude there is, I dont give a S__t. Low morale, and MOSTLY, unfriendly help IF or When you find any. Sometimes there is not even ONE Cashier open, they expect YOU to do self check out and then bag your own stuff. That has happened to me more than a handful of times. I wasted over an hour shopping, and then just leave a full cart and walk out. Sorry, but after 5 yrs of shopping there, barely ANYTHING has changed for the better. Besides slightly lower prices, par value, low manpower and wages. I really should just start going elsewhere.

Best experience in Walmart. I was looking for soap and couldnt find it anywhere. I asked the first rep I saw and he pointed me in a direction the turned out incorrect. Another rep saw me looking around so he asked what was is need. I told him I was looking for soap and he said I should follow him. All the way on the opposite side of the store was the soap aisle. It took us a few minutes to get there but he kept walking. I felt bad that he had to walk all this way just to get soap but his effort didnt go unnoticed. His name is Roger, from what I remembered. They should make him a Manager to train Walmart employees. I was in there about 10:30 to 11PM on 10/05/16 (had to get water and bread before the storm touchdown). That made my night. I wanted to give him a hug but he would probably think Im weird. Such a kind young man. Im grateful. We need more people like him. - Walmart on 34th Ave in St Petersburg next to the Regions Bank.

Not only is this store dirty, but the employees are rude and do not appear to have any management guidance or any protocal for dangerous situations. The parking lot is full of aggressive panhandlers that can only be turned away when you pick up your cell phone to call the police. Employees ignore it when customers in their store use very loud very foul language...commenting to young woman, propsitioning them and making sexual comments...taking pictures of these women taunting and frightening people. If another customer is brave enough to say something, they are bucked up on by the rowdy group and threatened. Store employees just look the other way. It is terrible and needs to be shut down. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT go to this Walmart Store... and even if you are feeling in the mood to take a chance...DO NOT go to this store after dark. It is a risk to your safety.

Most ridiculous excuse for customer service that Ive ever seen. I waited literally 20 minutes at an express lane for a manager (Austin) to do something that took him less than 1 minute to do. The register didnt give ne my cash back. I waited so long that I even got out my cell phone and called the store to request that they have a manager assist me. When the lady at the register pointed out to me who the manager was, she yelled for him twice and he looked and just kept walking. I then had to leave the register to go and get him because he had been hanging with someone who was clearly a personal friend of his. He actually had the nerve to be agitated that I came to get him after Id been waiting all that time. I dont know who is accountable or responsible for these people, but they need to be fired.
