I love thrifting BUT not at this particular Goodwill. They are extremely overpriced on items. For example: a Rival Crockpot from the 1990s with dried on food on it had a price tag of $24.99!! Not a typo -- $24.99!! A food processor with lots of scratches on the plastic food container was marked $19.99!! An old (not antique or vintage) lamp was marked $21.99 and didnt even have the lamp shade. Seriously??? Clothing does not look like they go through them before hanging them...lots of torn and stained items. The small furniture section was so jam packed you couldnt get in to look at pieces. I ended up purchasing two small baskets. In the past they had offered discounts to seniors, military, and students. Well, thats gone now. They offer senior and military discounts one day a week and NO student discounts. In North Carolina, Goodwill stores now ask if you want to "round up" for their work program...meaning that if your purchase is $4.01 you can round up 99 cents to pay $5.00 for already overpriced "donated" items. The Goodwill "nonprofit" has become a greedy organization. I thought that they were providing jobs for people and providing a less expensive alternative to the shopping community. With nasty, dirty, old crockpots marked for $24.99 -- I dont consider that a viable shopping alternative. I can get a newer model minus the dried on food at Wal-Mart for $19.99. As I mentioned, I love thrifting and have been a big supporter of Goodwill for many years, however, you will not be seeing me in the Port Orange Goodwill any time soon.

Very poor experience and the cashiers was very rude and not helpful at all and we couldnt use a fitting room and we even asked an employee and they lied about asking the manager because i watched the employee the whole time she walked in a circle and came back and told me that she spoke to the manager and she said th e manager said they wouldnt unlock that one and she never talked to a manager because i watched her the whole time and i waited to use a fitting room for over 30 minutes and one customer got frustrated and put the clothes back and at the registers there was over 8 to 10 people waiting in line and they were complaining and another employee opens a register but only took one customer and i glanced her way and add he didnt even acknowledge me and that was very rude and poor customer service and i wouldnt go out of my way to come back to that store and im a regular customer at goodwill and this would be the worst store Ive shopped at.

Wonderful staff. The people who work in the donation area are always so nice and very grateful for my donations. I have shopped here several times and have always found great deals. I got a $100 wall hanging for $8 a brand new pair of dockers for under $4 and a flat screen tv for $20. Now that I found out the home decor is going to be half price for a certain color tickets each week I will be back more often. They have special needs workers in this store who are so friendly and helpful its really nice to support a store that does so much for the local community. I have several friends who have used the goodwill job connection center to get jobs and I have been told that the money made at this store is used to offer the free services they offer. Keep up the good work, Thank you!

Tons of items in stock at all times which makes it a decent stop here and there, HOWEVER, watch out for their prices! Often times they exceed retail which is obscured considering the items are donated and used. For example, the pocketbooks are always overpriced and cost around $6-10 for a small used lipstick stained bag or clutch. Housewares and kitchen is often high priced as well. Today we saw a coffee maker by Mr. Coffee that was priced at $24.99 and well used. A used 3 high rubbermaid plastic 3 drawer storage cart that needed a good scrub down priced at $19.99? Sometimes even the staff agrees and comments theyre too high. Its hit or miss really as any thrifter can understand. Ive scored some good finds here. The prices at times just seem to blow my mind.

This is a ridiculously overpriced second-hand store, with a terrible layout, and mostly worthless staff. Half the CDs and DVDs I looked through were empty cases, and when I checked out with a few, the lady did ask if I checked to see if they were in the case, but when I replied that I had, but several that I wanted were empty, she then told me that she wished we, the customers, would make a point of weeding out the empty ones-- seriously, how hard is it to check that before putting them on the shelf? Whos paying who here? The whole place and most everyone in there made me feel like I was in bizarro world.

I was so excited for this new store to open. Thrifting is so much fun. The staff is very nice and helpful. But the store has really gotten overloaded. All shelves are packed to the brim! And the prices are rediculous! Plastic serving platters 5 and 6 dollars. This is all donated, so drop the price and sell it. Some of these items sit for over a !month at a time on the shelves. It is starting to look very junky. Im so disappointed!! Please make some changes and clean up this store!

Very expensive place, their dress prices are higher than Ross, Marshal or Home goods. Their shoes are overpriced. You can buy nrw shoes in the retal store for the price they asking here, t-shirts are almost $4.00 Blujeans are almost $7.00 electronics are very expensive. You have to spend good amount of time to find something good and reasonable price. The only think i shop there is that sometimes you can find unique items, are over priced but you dont fund it in retal stores.

I love thrifting. I find deals wherever I am. I found some decent prices here. Toddler shorts, 18-24 apt 1.80$ You do have to dig through a couple racks to find what you seek. Womans youth to elderly tops, skirts, dresses and bottoms are in abundance with something for every age group and fashion statement. I even found a few long shorts for my 7 ft tall husband!

This is the best Goodwill I have found in Central Florida it is always filled with high quality and high variety and its always very clean and neat even though there seems to usually be a lot of people shopping there. I have found the staff and the other customers always Pleasant. I got the best bargain the other day and Im still happy every time I look at it LOL

Very disappointed prices are high considering every thing is donated and they usually only have one checkout open Im a regular donater to goodwill and they are quick to come out to my car for donations but when its time to check out you have one check out open when theres a line of people half way through the store

The staff are polite and helpful, the store is cleaner and more organized than the ones in Sanford and especially Holly Hill, and the clothing and other items are in better condition and of better quality than other locations. Im actually going there today to get clothing for a new job.
