Im very disappointed in the Pinellas Park Cabinet/Countertop team at Home Depot vs other Home Depots. There is clearly an issue with training there. Here is a great example: when I went in for a drawer exchange for a product that was in-stock, an associate told me she needed to contact a cabinet vendor for warranty support and she would do it Monday. Then when I called the next day she told me I would have to contact the vendor myself. When I called, I found out that the exchange would take 10 days and be a very onerous process. Alternatively, I decided to try the Clearwater store because theyve always been good to me. I walked in, told them what happened with the defective cabinet. They went in the back, swapped out the broken part, asked if there was anything else I needed help with, and sent me on my way! The difference? Lets see... 10 minutes vs ELEVEN DAYS. The training needs to change at the PP Home Depot, plain and simple. I will drive out of my way to avoid PP Home Depot at ALL COSTS.

As far as Home Depots go...this is a small store. Parking lot is full of agressive beggars who will confront you on the way in and out almost everytime you go. Not sure why the store allows that. Beyond that...they seem to be missing very common things. Car supplies for instance...not that i expect they should have a ton of stuff...but they have 12 different tire shine options...all sorts of oil...but not a single option for car wax. All throughout the store, they just have normal things missing. You have to go to the store on 22nd or to Gulf to Bay. The other issue is their nuts and bolts section is very mixed up. I realize people are rude and just dont care and dont even bother putting things back where they got it...but their stuff is really jumbled up...more so than the bigger more busy stores. On a positive note...the staff are very helpful and very friendly.

RUDEST MANAGER EVER!!! My daughter tried calling about a school project that was a bit controversial and the manager was so extremely rude to her that after getting off the phone she went to her room and cried. I mean how cruel can you be that you make a 12 year old girl cry just for asking a simple question. I mean it was a controversial topic and I wouldnt have called myself but she didnt know any better, she is still an innocent kid. I cant believe how rude some people can be in this world. If you want to have a good experience I would NEVER go to this home depot or at least never talk to the female manager. I am truly disgusted with how my daughter was treated and personally will never be going to this home depot again.

This store wont honor their price match guarantee, I purchased an item at the Pinellas Park location and later in the day I found the same item was $15 cheaper at wal-mart. I made a second trip to the store and showed the customer service desk the price on my phone and they would not match the price. I ended up returning the item and purchasing it from walmart. Wasted 2 trips to this store. Also this store does not sell fine threaded standard bolts, wasted 45 minutes looking for them, and no one working in hardware to help. Go to tri-city bolt & screw for your hardware, and go to walmart, Lowes, Ace or a different HD location for the other stuff.

Like this store. All department are helpful but the paint, gardening, and plumbing (where I needed the most help) went out of their way to get me what I needed. So many knowledgeable people working in this store. Talkung with the lady in the light department really helped me select the right bulbs for my photo business. May not seem like a big deal but we were ordering our bulbs from a low online seller. She looked at the light and found a comparable bulb that saved us $5 per bulb. Her knowledge of comparable lumens/ color and how I needed to use the light source was awesome.

Every time I visit this Home Depot I get great customer service. Yesterday two employees in particular went above and beyond. My van broke down in the parking lot and I was waiting inside for AAA. John L. (a Home Depot employee) noticed me and checked on me regularly. When AAA didnt show up at the designated time John L. went the extra mile and found another employee Ed, who could check my van and jump start the battery. They took the time to help me and make sure I was ok. Thank you John L. and Ed for you concern and care.

Horrible customer service. We just moved to the area and paid $50 for a door install consultation on Apr 6. No one called to confirm an appt time all week and after trading many calls, they were supposed to come out this morning, on Apr 14. No call, no show. Also, the soonest they could do a fence consultation was May 2. We cancelled our window consultation for May 23. They obviously do not value their customers. Lots of other competition out there, Home Depot! We will not be buying anything from them in the future.

I just bought all new appliances from this Home Depot. Literally, ten minutes after the delivery guys left, I called Home Depot because the fridge started buzzing loudly. they referred me Whirlpool. Even after Whirlpool came out, its still not fixed. I feel that they should have swapped this fridge out at Home Depot for one that was not faulty, but since I didnt pay for the extended warranty, that wont happen. Extremely disappointed in their customer service or lack thereof.

I bumped into George M in the Doors and Cabinets section just around closing time looking for an obscure part of a door handle. George took the time and effort not only to find me options but also took my phone number and called me back the next day with just the part I needed, a tool to put it in, bagged up and waiting for me at the Service area. This is what makes Home Depot awesome! Thanks George and thanks Home Depot! PS: This is also why, Ill always prefer HD over the other guys...

Bought an LG room air conditioner from Home Depot. Great unit but the remote is real weak will not operate the unit from 4 feet away. Left a review praising the unit but mentioned the weak remote. A few days later Home Depot rejected my review. Censoring product reviews because of negative commenting is not good business. Its getting nearly impossible to buy a product going by reviews these days. Between the paid puffery reviews and companies like Home Depot that censor reviews.
