Shop this store on a regular basis, 2 times now the manager Chet (short skinny blonde haired nerd) has given me an attitude and purposely tried to embarrass me for arguing price with him. Told me my item was worth this much and I showed it what it was selling for and he started to yell while customers were in the store. Second time around brought all my old movies I havent watched in over 2 years and they opened one and found a dead bug (havent opened it in 2 years how would I know it was there) and he proceeded to raise his voice and embarrass me. I will never go back again, this store has lost my business forever and Ive been going their for the past 20 years. Who ever owns Dans pawn needs to seriously consider replacing this guy before he gets himself into some trouble with a person of a shorter temper than I.

I went in to sell 3 cameras and a fossil watch. they only wanted to offer me $15 a piece for the cameras when online used they sell for $200 and the fossil watch they only wanted to give me $10 for it when i paid almost $300. There prices are not fair and they wont negotiate with you. At first the guy didnt even want to make me an offer on the watch because he said he wouldnt be able to give me that much for it. The employees name was max, I DO NOT RECCOMEND GOING THERE!!!! Its not as nice as everyone thinks. if it was bigger and they had a wider variety of there items i think it would be a little bit better. but the over all experience was horrible. i personally dont think that they are the best in town.

Got a $150 cash loan on an item valued at $2,000. I couldnt cover the finance charges for one month, so they gave me a 7 day extension with no problem. Well, I went back on the day it was supposed to be paid to cover the finance charges, cash in hand, and lo and behold they had already put my pawn in default. By the time I had found out that this error was because the employee that gave me the extension "didnt do her job" by putting a note in their computer system, my item was already being "serviced for sale" and they offered to sell it back to me on layaway. They have a complete lack of professional accountability and will steal your items if they make a mistake.

The pawnbrokers and management here have very high integrity and understand what customer service is all about. I have been a manager at a big box and the customer service at Dans blows away where I was at my former positions. You need to come and see this amazing customer first hand. This place takes advantage of the unknowing. Had my ex go in mad at me over a tiff wanting to sell a promise ring. The ring was valued at 2 grand. I had more in it than that after sizing. People at Dans literally took full advantage of my exs spitefulness and told her they could only give her 65$. Of course, she took it thinking it was just a cheap ring. Dont let these guys play you too.

Years ago I sold things at Dans (Beck Ave) to keep my beloved dog on medication. Everyone was always friendly, fair and willing to negotiate. Now I can start replacing some jewelry and Dans was my first choice. Hope took care of me, actually listened to me about what I liked. She was terrific. Hope is personable, patient and an asset to Dans!

I stop by every once in a while to look at everything that is out for sale. There are tons a interesting items, beautiful jewelry, and they always have the tool I need for a project. The staff is always friendly and you cant beat the prices. I will be shopping here for a long time to come.

A very bad experience, was trying to pawn my car with a title ,, treated me a like criminal was very rude asking me too many personal questions, so I went to Alamo pawn was in and out in 7min with more money and a way better experience ,I dont recommend them to anyone. . .
