Ive been in there multiple times and service tech was rude to both me and my wife. Completely ignored us and those that entered after us that were obviously taken priority because they knew them. Dropped my bike off for service and said it would be at least a week before he could get to it and let me know what problem is and cost. When I got my bike back, it had been assembled incorrectly and I took it back and tech made it as if I had done something to the bike. I explained I just had it services and had not ridden the bike, they took another look at it and found it was not put together correctly . Another came in behind me and he took care of it immediately trouble shooting the problem Technician actually said to my wife that she does not look like she could ride a mountain bike. I have seen on several occasions where people joining the organized bike rides urinate in back of the buildings in plain sight. I realize you need to go, but at least have the courtesy to get in the woods or use a bathroom . Although they are close to us, I dont think I will be going back

Looked at a comfort bike there today. I thought it was kinda pricy, but came back later that day and asked to see that same bike in a small frame. He came back with one that was $60. More. I asked him to do better on the price, and he came down $10. I came back and said, ok, $10 off and throw in a kickstand, I will buy the finders, and you put them on complimentary, he said yes. Then when he wrote it up, he backed out of the deal. I would had spent $600. that day, and he let me walk out of the door for a lousy $10. What a schmuck…

A decent bike shop for your average joe who doesnt ride very seriously. They know about the average consumer bikes but not too knowledgeable about higher-end bikes or parts. That being said theyre pretty much the best place to go within 50 miles of their location.. which is pretty depressing if youre a serious rider. I actually have to drive all the way to Orlando to go to Orange Cycle if I want to deal with people who are on the same level. Good enough in a pinch though, they can order stuff... but so can I. Meh

This bike shop is absolutely the BEST bike shop in Tampa Bay. They are always extremely helpful and understanding. I went to purchase a bike from them after not really riding since a teenager and they knew exactly what I wanted and hooked me up with the perfect bike. Ive looked at several other bike stores but this one is the best. Others only carry limited stock or are unfriendly. Chainwheel Drive will be my bike shop of choice for years to come. My 3yr old loves them too, she is always excited to go there.

Ive tried calling the business number listed numerous times and call wont go through. Would love to support small business, but like to call before making the trip in. Okay- made the drive in and they explained phone service outage. Doug was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and very friendly. We ended up purchasing the perfect bike and are very happy with the outcome! We love the bike and appreciate the response as well. Thank you!

Really great bike shop. A technician helped me install a water bottle holder and a phone mount for free. I got my brakes fixed and my bike is doing great. I would really recommend this place.

Not impressed. The staff was not friendly. I would go to any other bike shop in the area and stay away from these guys.

Dont go they charged me $30 for a new break when all I needed was a cable and it took a week.
