I am not sure why this place gets good reviews. Yes, the coffee is good...everything else is not. First problem is parking...too far to get acup of coffee. There is never a spot in the front parking. UNDERSTAFFED, SLOW SERVICE. The food is heated in an oven tha makes everything mushy. Overall a place that culd excel..doesnt. May missed opportunities.

I love this place !! I work close by and get my breakfast here every morning since they open so early ,forget Starbucks. The coffee is amazing and the staff is friendly . They have delicious Colombian pastries. For anyone that may not find parking I recommend parking in the garage in the back which is free and they also have a drive thru!

Juan Valdez is a tremendous cafe with a rich cultural flavor, bringing Colombia to North Miami, and the delicious taste of their coffee and bakery products to international customers. The cafe is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, filled with sunshine, attended by very professional and friendly staff. LOVE IT!

I dont know WHY this place has such high reviews. I came in for breakfast and they didnt have any bagels besides plain. Their chocolate croissant was DRY and barely had chocolate in it?? Worst ever. Their coffee tasted like cardboard. The staff was underwhelming. Im not coming here again.

The atmosphere is very cozy and the service very good. The Juan Valdez Colombian Coffee is Delicious, plus they serve Great Pastries and Dessert. There is WIFI, drive through service and a small outside seating area.

Excellent competition for Starbucks. Better coffee, superb snacks. Try the "empanadas" or the "pan de bonos".
