Just wanted to add an update to my previous review below. I went back to John to get my tattoo completed utilizing my mothers ashes and he did another awesome job. Im so happy with the final product! Thanks again, John! John did a stunning job on my tattoo. The artwork came out exactly how I wanted it to translate to skin. Im still amazed at how perfect the colors he mixed came out. Between the color, line work & shading, I really couldnt be happier. He was very gentle with the tattoo gun as well. Its healing wonderfully. This tattoo is very special to me as it is a Memorial for my Mother and I couldnt be more pleased all around. I totally recommend John at Custom Creations and will be going back for more! Additionally, John & Sydney were very accommodating and awesome during my 5+ hour stay. So many thanks!!!

07/07/2017 John re-did a cross on my arm and it turned out great. I then wanted him to do a cover up on my shoulder and was talking to him about a peacock that would not only cover the old shoulder tattoo but cascade down my arm. John was in the middle of moving his shop and that was fine however, John never got back to me and never returned my calls. I even said to his partner on 07/06 to have john call me back the same day if he was still interested. He did not. Money left on the table. I booked another artist to do a sleeve for $1500.00

The guys and gal at Custom Creations made me and my best friend feel right at home! If home were a tattoo joint! :P We brought in my custom drawing and John hooked it up and turned it into something even more amazing than I imagined. John Duggan took care of my friend while JR Mitchell took care of me. They made us feel oh so welcomed and did our bff tattoos beautifully~~ Were in love with our tattoos and will definitely be back! JR Mitchell... You da man!

I really enjoyed getting my Friday the 13th tattoo. John did my tat. He did awesome. He was very approachable as was Joey. As john was doing my Cabbage Rose tat I asked what other things I could do with this tat to improve or add more to it. And he immediatley offered to color it in for another $10. It was a great deal. And Im very happy with my tat. The entire environment was friendly and awesome. Definitely going back.

Very disappointing I tried a couple of portrait that I wanted and they kept turning me down saying it was to blurry I finally found one that I liked and they said it was horrible most of these tattoo shops are too picky for portrait tattoos i am a paying customer who is putting a deposit down on my tattoo i will walk away if the next tattoo shop turns me down and wont get anymore tattoos

J.R mitchell (the owner) is the best, very artistic can draw, not just copy a flash on your body and trace the outline!! if you want art on you that you wont regret go to him and if you already regret a tattoo he can fix that too i have a double cover up by him as well as many others!!!

How2Basics

Went in with a budget and an Idea in mind. Wow! Did he Exceed my expectations. Not only was the job fast, his lines were PERFECT!!! His shading was PERFECTLY blended and I was Ecstatic when I saw the end result. If I could give you a higher star review I would! Definitely recommending to family and friends! Great work !

John is a great artist to work with and has a shop to match. He keeps a clean shop, knows his way around a custom drawing, has great attention to detail, and has a light touch. Theres no bidet in the washroom, but the décor more than makes up for that shortcoming.
