The pedicure I recieved was pretty good and I really like the bioseaweed gel they use. I also noticed the place looked fairly clean. My main concern was the wait time. I had made an appointment several times there and brought my daughter in for her to have the appointment at the same time. I noticed the manager (Vien) would have my daughter wait an extra 30 minutes while I got my nails done as he allowed walk ins to take priority over a scheduled appointment. When I questioned this on each occasion he would tell me that several of the girls called in sick so that was why they were behind, He then proceeded to come up with reasons as to why the walk ins would take priority over scheduled appointments. When I asked him why schedule appointments he began telling me that if I was not happy I could find another nail place to go to. Finally after he continued coming up with excuses I told him I did not want to argue with him anymore about the issue. Later when I went to give the nail techs a tip off of my charge card, he told me he would give them the tips at the end of the night when previously he would cash out and I would give the techs the tip. I thought was strange that it was different as I gave a larger tip this time. On another occasion, I noticed him offering discounts to some of the younger girls (teens) who came in there for the same exact service that I was getting. when i asked if I could get the discount he came up with a reason "well you are getting an entire set of nails and not a fill". Lastly, one of the concerns I had was when a gentleman came in to the salon (he did not have a girlfriend, he came alone) and he stood there talking with Vien. He then exchanged something with Vien (I did not see what it was) and quickly left. Vien then went to the back of the salon and reappeared shortly thereafter. On my last fill that I recieved I noticed there was barely any of the color left that I had recieved, I asked if that was enough and they said yes. By the time they were finished I had a pretty thin coat of the bioseaweed gel and it didnt seem to be the quality as some of the other nail places i have been. I am not going to go back there again.,

I had gone to Boutique Nails for over 2 years and had always gotten exceptional service from Bill. He always did my nails exactly how I wanted them, spent nearly an hour and a half to shape them to my specifications and always got tipped properly for that. The man never complained ever and always was satisfied that I was happy. I stopped going there 8 months ago when Bill was on vacation. I needed my nails filled and painted before I went out of town and Vien wasnt there either but the other woman that works the counter was. I had gotten attitude from her first, but I brushed it off because she seems to always come off that way to me. It wasnt until I got to the nail technician that I had gotten a round of "Nos". I first showed her how I liked my nails shaped and she immediately said "No, I cannot do that, it would take too much time" and I simply told her Bill always does them, and then asked when he would return, to where she said a month so I just sucked it up and figured I would shape them with my Dremel tool at home. I then asked her for a color I had gotten two weeks before that was a fresh pot because Bill said no one ever got the color besides me, to which she responded they dont have the color and they never have. I told her she was a liar because Bill just used it on my nails 2 weeks prior, and got up and left. I would also like to point out, in the cabinet where they kept the gel polishes, I saw my color number, and couldnt believe she had the guts to lie to a customer that always pays well over $50 each visit. The majority of women there do not care about your business, they just care about leaving early or their tips and its sad, because we are their pay. I figured I needed to post this because people should be aware of how much they lack good customer service, even if you are a regular. There are plenty other salons that have gel nail polish, and youll find your nail home again. They are no longer a 5-star location, so dont feel obligated to get your nails done here just because theyve had gel the longest.

Ive been to this salon several times and though Ive had a few bad experiences (with rude employees, nails chipping, and the like) its one of the better (and cleaner!) salons in the area. Pricing is very expensive but they have a huge staff so you almost never have to wait too long and you can pretty much always get in and out without an appointment. I will say, though, that I have heard from several different people that they are unwilling to help fix a chip on your nail even if its only been a few days or not even. Ive also had nail techs who couldnt get the design I wanted right and I had to get a simpler, plain design instead because I didnt have the time to have her keep redoing it. Ive also had very noticeably crooked nails because of this same nail tech, so try to find one you like and make appointments with them! EDIT: After reading other negative reviews, I will corroborate some of these things. The owner is very rude. And I HAVE first hand seen him serve customers who were spending more money before others who were spending less. My grandmother and I came in one day, I wanted a pedicure and she wanted a simple manicure with no polish-- just a cleanup. After seating me right away and telling my grandma it would take only about 10 minutes, they made her wait 30 before they finally got to her, after seating many other WALKIN customers before her. Needless to say, she was very annoyed and decided to not get her nails done at all. I have also seen the employees say that it is against their rules to talk in languages other than English but I have also seen this done on many occasions. This is probably the most popular nail salon in the area, by far. Just beware that the experience you are getting is not consistent. As Ive mentioned, I have had several negative experiences here as well as several positive ones.

So I went in with my sister to get my nails done, as I was excited to try out some soak off gel work at this salon. Even though the place was not exactly crawling with business that afternoon, they made us wait about 54 mins before finally working us in. This was while people were sitting around talking. Whats worse is that they were joking about us in their native "moon speak", assuming we would not understand what they were saying, laughing and joking about how they were making us wait on purpose just to see if we would leave. Unfortunately for them, our family is mixed, with many members from Asia, including China and Vietnam, so I can speak Cantonese among other things rather well, as can my sister, so we waited them out. After they worked us in, I have to be honest, I was not impressed with the work that was done, though they did do a better job on my sisters nail then my own. It was passable work I guess, but I have had better work done on my nails when visiting salons in LA and in NY while visiting family there. What was really the final rub on the place was one of the supervisors, or owners, named Vien Hoang, joking with one of the other salon workers about how they are ripping us off on the gel work, and that they buy their supplies off ebay for dirt cheap, and trump up the cost, passing it on to us. When I was paying and about to leave I informed the "specialist" that handled my nails that I was aware of basically everything, every joke they said about us. She apologized, and that is when she gave me the name of the supervisor type pacing around joking with others, and said I could direct complaints to them. Yeah.....All in all, just my opinion, people can take my word for a grain of salt, but I will not be going back.
