Soooo during Art Walk and a friend and I went into the store and looked at all of the beautiful arrangements that were displayed. I had my eye on a cactus garden for quite some time and expressed it to my friend. A few weeks later, I fell sick and my friend that it would be a great idea to send me a cactus garden instead of the traditional old flowers that would last a week or so. He called and spoke to Janet and described the arrangement he wanted to send me. They didnt have it available, so he asked for something else which they didnt have either so Janet said, she would send something nice which was a money tree. When I returned to work a day after it was delivered, I immediately called because I no knowledge of caring for this money tree and it just wasnt what I liked. I didnt get a response but figured Id just stop by during art walk which was going to be that same Saturday. I stopped in the shop, spoke to a few employees who were there and they told me to call back on Tuesday because Janet would be there as she is the person who processed the order. I called on Wednesday and spoke to her and she said shed send over the instructions on how to take care of the plant after i expressed my concerns with care for the plant, not having any knowledge of it to truly be excited or happy with the plant AND the fact that they didnt have what he asked for which was the cactus garden! She only sent the instructions via email and told me if I wanted to buy another one, she could give a 10% discount. Please keep in mind these arrangements are priced at $120.00! I wasnt happy but was kind of stuck with it because Janet only insisted on providing instructions and offering me to purchase another plant for $110. A month later I watered it as instructed, gave the proper lighting and it looked HORRIBLE!!!! Please see pictures! Now, I was over the fact that she was unhelpful when she knew I didnt have the item I really wanted or the fact that there werent any instructions but for this $120 plant to be near death after a month was UNACCEPTABLE!!! So I took the plant back to the store, Janet was there. I say that plant in the counter and asked is my plant supposed to look like this after a month and her exact words were "you didnt like the plant from the beginning". I again asked if it should look like that and she told me that it shouldnt and if I wanted she could water it for me. I told her that I had watered it already for the week. She was so rude, unhelpful and curt. I just left the shop and chopped it up to NEVER purchase anything from them. Every time I brought a new person to Art Walk thats like the must go place, whenever someone is looking for arrangements or flowers, I send them that way but never again! To add INSULT to injury, Janet takes it upon herself to call my friend and tell him I wasnt satisfied with the plant he sent me and offered to sell him another Plant and shed give a 10% discount! That was soooo low! After I told her I wasnt interested, she went behind my back and tried to get him to buy something else from her! Although the place seemed so beautiful and futuristic..... I found out that it is a rotten garden with a wicked florist! Ill NEVER do business with them again and dont suggest that anyone else do business with them either. The plants may look beautiful in the store but dont expect them to last for more than a month... Well at least the money tree!

If you want to pay a lot of money for a plant that will die in a few months, this is the place for you. If you want an arrangement that actually lasts, do NOT purchase from Plant the Future. I bought a table plant from them, which died within six months - when I engaged with them about it, they told me that (a) my plant should not be in the container it was in because it needs drainage, that they knew that beforehand, but felt that the aesthetics of the arrangement were more important so they potted it this way anyway. In other words, they omitted all of this information at the beginning and sold me a plant that they knew was going to die. When it died, they offered to replace it for 50% of the (already expensive) cost. Not only did this feel like a horrible customer service experience, it felt like a scam.

I recently got married in Miami, Plant of the Future handled all of our decorating for 3 venues. Josh, at the South Beach location, was such a amazing . His vision and creativity made every photo brilliant, the archway was designed as something out of a fairytale, and our guests couldnt stop saying that it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. The service was by far the best we received from any other vendor, hotel, restaurant etc... that we have ever received in our numerous stays in Miami. We have numerous pieces in our home that bring such special memories. We can not say enough good things about this business and the staff! ~ Nadya Matthes

Wow! Daniel was in the shop when my friend and I walked in. I was stopped in my tracks in admiration for the craftwork that was gracing my eyes in Plant The Future ! The Kid Robot Dunny ( "Munny" ) caught my eye from the window, if you appreciate a Kid Robot & the significance of a Dunny ( "Munny" ) you will FREAK OUT ! The work that was being made to incorporate these figurines/ characters with succulents was incredible. All of the succulents in the shop and creations are top notch ! If you are in Wynwood or a local area to that definitely stop on into the shop. If not you can order online cheyaa!

Living plants arguably make better gifts than run-of-the-mill floral arrangements: Done right, a great plant or terrarium can be an uplifting interior décor element in itself, and they don’t wilt or die a few days later. Plant the Future is the place to go for beautiful, lively, inspired living plant arrangements, from vibrant flowering cacti to moss art (like a chic Chia Pet!) to actual works of art with plants in them. Theres another location in Mid-Beach.

Super creative shop and exhibit. A must see if youre in the wynwood neighborhood. Alot of cool artwork that features plants. There was a transformer with a moss core powering it. Super inventive. Pretty small shop but makes up for it in creativity. Limited street parking
