I bought a few hundred bucks worth of (matching) kitchen appliances - with excellent help from the staff - and I have to say the quality is NOT the Kenmore quality I remember growing up with. I love the infrared oven though its parts arent so durable (cleaning wise) , and I guess the can opener works fine ( I dont use it much) but the hot water pot has become a fire hazard! This is just a major QC failure. The switch is stuck after only a few months so Ive been relying on myself to go check when its steaming since I cant return it and who has another $40 - or even the time - to go get a new something that you already own. Worse, the pot doesnt really protect you from water once it hits boiling - they could have used better plastic - so when I forget I get burned. Really capitalists, sometimes spending that extra buck per unit could keep or lose a customer. Im gone. Again, nice people though.

The Appliance Repair department of store 8066 in Fort Walton Beach is a total failure. Technician never showed within a 4 hour...thats 4 FREAKING HOURS window. He was nice enough to call 2 hours after to let me know he is running late (understatement) and would have to cancel. After contacting Sears to file a complaint I had to get a representative to correct the notation he put in my file from "Customer cancelled at door" to "Technician never showed and cancelled by phone from another customers house 2 hours after service window." The next day I called a local appliance repair place and had a technician at my door the same day, within a 2 hour window, problem diagnosed, and parts ordered. What Sears couldnt do in 2 weeks this business did in hours. I am not saying dont use them for warranty work (God have mercy on your soul) but if you have a choice then do some shopping around.

Went along to the Sears store at Santa Rosa Mall to have a car battery installed in my SUV. At my next scheduled oil change (not at Sears) the technician found the plastic cover that is supposed to protect the positive terminal of the car battery impinged in the hood insulation. The Sears technician had left it sitting on the top of the engine and closed the hood after a shoddy job of installing the battery. The insulation of the hood is damaged, the cover of the positive battery terminal is bent and the top of the engine is scratched.

Very nice, clean store with a large variety of tools and clothing! I visited this mall with my family while vacationing in Ft.Walton/Destin and wanted to check out the tools here. While I found some good tools to buy l also found some good deals on nice clothing as well! Our big Sears in Ms closed years ago so it was nice to revisit one. I will definately come back my next time we come through the area. If you want a great selection of tools, clothing and even appliances & Matresses. Very good store

Why will this store NOT ANSWER ITS PHONE? I have phoned repeatedly for more than a week and after it rings for the operator for awhile, the phone disconnects. WHERE ARE THE STAFF? We got a leather couch and loveseat that was damaged by the deliverymen, and we are so fed up that Sears will not answer its phone. Sheesh, its not like they have so many customers they can afford to lose them because of poor service.

I truly feel like they took advantage of me. Please do not get your vehicle repaired there, specially women! I tried talking to management and the head management/supervisor for Sears and all they did was brush me off. Very bad customer service.

I took my F150 to Sears Auto at Mary Esther to have a new battery installed and to have them balance and rotate my tires. On the way home, I heard the wheel weights fly off of each wheel and hit the bottom of my truck.

The mechanic was dishonest. Overcharged for tire installation, then filled out his own customer satisfaction sheet in front of me while i was signing the receipt.

Two negative experiences on appliances. I would say to avoid buying here if an item involves either backorder, delivery, installation or warranty.
