This mall is deteriorating. Its disgusting. The employees are all rude. Everyone clearly hates their job. They all know the mall is shutting down. Everyone smells like marijuana and looks high or is on something else. I get zero help at Spencers especially because the manager I think his name is Jason is always high I think I saw a marijuana baked brownie fall out of his pocket once because he was very suspicious about it and nobody gets nervous about just a brownie. Not to mention hell follow you around and stare at your butt. Dont bend over in front of him. This mall definitely needs to be renovated and get new employees that can pass a drug test. This place is crawling with weirdos and druggies. Its clearly going to be shut down soon. Hopefully someone fixes this mall and puts decent stores in it so people dont have to drive to Pensacola or Destin for a exceptional shopping experience.

I like this mall for the convenience of the location from where I am staying, but it is a small mall. Not a lot of stores to choose from. I do like Victoria Secret at this location, I absolutely adore Alex who is employed there! Always helpful and friendly! Another great store there is a resale shop, the lady who owns the store is a delight! Another great feature of this mall is Planet Fitness. I have enjoyed my workouts there this month! With a black card membership you can enjoy the perks of the hydrobed, and the tanning beds. I highly recommend the hydrobed after a hard workout!

This mall has been declining for years, but there is some new hope of a bit of a comeback. Using empty spaces for a big growing church, added a great coffee place JJ Chagos, new trampoline bounce place like Skyzone hit better, and now an awesome kids place to play that is pretty cheap with tons of bounce houses, obstacle courses, video games, and more. Great place for ages 3-12 or so. Needs some strong retailers and a good restaurant or two and more traffic but thinking there may be a chance to revive it. Still very clean and nice for a small mall!! You should try a peaceful evening there.

It used to be the place to shop now everyone goes to Destin! I hate the traffic to Destin plus the mall is just a few miles from my house. Why drive 15 miles which could take over an hour in traffic. I love Dillards, at least Destin doesnt have that. And the mall is covered, Destin Commons is not. When its cold and raining, Id rather shop in the mall. I just wish the owners would do something to keep it more fresh and upbeat. Bring business back to the mall. More people would shop there if they had more selection. Im not the only one who hates driving to Destin.

If youve ever wondered what it felt like walking through a graveyard then you need to come to Santa Rosa Mall in Mary Esther Florida. This place truly is entirely behind the times and needs a major renovation or complete leveling and rebuild. Fort Walton Beach Mary Esther needs major shopping to avoid the heavy traffic to Pensacola in Destin and Panama City Beach but since we dont have it we thank Amazon for their services. Maybe next seasons Walking Dead Or Fear The Walking Dead can take place in the Santa Rosa Mall.

Its a nice mall that seems to be well kept and is clean, its older but is still a nice place. There are a few stores here and there that are vacant but There is still a nice Sears, GameStop, F.Y.E music, A GIANT Shoe Dept, and other places here and there. Overall its a well kept place and would no doubt be excellent if they can fill the few empty spots, in a convienent area as well close to the beach! Also in the food court area theres a giant carousel ride for kids at night.

It feels a bit old and rundown (I have NEVER seen it busy and it is very quiet and empty). It has stores very typical of a mall (old navy, three department stores -Dillards, JCPenny, SEARS-and other typical stores). A few unique stores that give it character and something different to shop for. The food court is small and selections arent great. The restrooms are not convenient for most of the mall being in the food court. One stall was also completely out of toilet paper.

Lived in ft Walton my whole life. This mall used to be amazing. Now theres only a handful of stores to go to. This mall has gone down the toilet. Someone needs to just sign the paperwork to have it torn down and put something else in its place. I wouldnt recommend this mall to anyone, unless you literally just need to run in and grab something from either old navy or bath and body works because the next closest ones are in Destin. Worth the drive to Destin, in my opinion.

I remember going here as a kid with my parents in the late 1990s early 2000s. I walked though it recently for the nostalgia. The food court was always packed. The best memories were the Chick fil a and the giant cookie cake store. Some stores are still there from where I was a kid. Still remember going to sears to get a N64 game as a kid. Lots of great memories. I am glad I got to walk it recently. Its a shame it wont hit the prime days again.

It is true that the place is dying. On the other hand, it still has stores that I love shopping in and I do not think that it is completely useless. Although a lot of my favorite stores are no longer available, I still love to go to Bath and Body Works, Earthbound, Charlotte Russe, Old Navy, F.Y.E., and Victorias Secret. This list of stores might not be convincing enough for you to shop at this mall, but just know that they are still there!

Like most malls around the country, lots of empty space for lease and few customers milling about. Sad to see the slow death of the.all for us late baby boomers, who spent their evenings after school hanging out at the mall in the game rooms and skateboarding in the parking lots. It was, for a time, the social center for youth prior to the electronic age. Just another dinosaur, dying a slow agonizing death...

I think Destin has put the final nail in the Santa Rosa Malls coffin. All of the big stores and shopping are now in Destin. I am here on a Saturday night, and there is hardly anyone here. This mall use to be hopping a few years ago. Depressing to see this. Its still very clean and maintained, just sad seeing empty store fronts everywhere. Hopefully someone can turn this around....

This mall is absolutely in need of new management. There is so many empty stores and whatever is here is tiny and something people are not shopping for. My sister went to the restroom at the food court and there was poop smeared all over the floor. The food court has a grand total of 5 restaurants and 2 of them were Chinese food. This was my first and last ever visit to this mall.
