It was just awfull, I should trusted the reviews before going but is been going for years so I did not think anything of it. I got the at 9:30am to get an eye exam and ended up taking me till 12:00pm to even leave. They could not pull up my insurance so they had to have help by like 4 people just to pull it up, then after waiting for a long time they tell me Im not covered, they made me call my insurance company to verify it and they said I was covered but they kept saying I was not so I ended up calling them 3 times and the insurance company sent the same thing and Im covered but they kept saying Im not, then after I long time they finally call the insurance company to confirm that I do, then I finally got the exam, the customer service is horrible but the doctor was a really nice guy, seemed quiet but really nice. I would not trust the selection of glasses, target has a nice selection for cheaper price, and the glasses a target are better made compared to this doctors place, I have a bruise left on my nose ware the glasses from here. This will be the last time I even step foot in there. I would like to note that the photos of the inside are complete wrong the walls are white, its ALOT more rundown then the picture, and it is not even organized as nicely as the picture shows

I am writing this review so that anyone who is interested in making appointments wont waste their time. I have been a customer/patient for awhile now & since the very beginning I have never liked this place but continued to go here because it was the closest place where I can get my yearly exam. So I thought it would be best to write this honest review so people wont make the mistake of coming here and also because I will no longer go to this business ever again in my life. Below are things to expect from this terrible business. -A extremely loud environment with kids always crying & screaming. - The staff is extremely rude. - If you make an appointment be prepared to be called 30 to 45 mins later on a " busy" day. 15- 20 minutes on a slow day. - They are unsanitary - They will rip you off ( TRUST ME ON THAT ONE) Lastly the Doctor himself is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE !!! BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!! Please dont let your first time visit fool you if you do decide to check it out.

Muy disgustada con ésta óptica. Fué mas larga la espera que el exámen. Llevé a mi hijo y el examen no duró ni tres minutos, apenas le probó dos lentes y yá. Mal servicio y caro. No lo recomiendo para nada, y no pienso regresar para exámen,ni compra de espejuelos. El oftalmólogo u optetra (no lo sé) ni nos habló, ni nos saludó, ni fué cortés, ni amable,y tenía cara de pocos amigos, muy antipático, y nada de profesional ( será porque tenemos medicaid!?).

The doctor told me that my plan is responsible for making my glasses, which is the case most of the time and that my plan dictates the copayments not the doctors office. The doctor and staff are great, they are just trying to do the best they can for their patients, they cant control how long or what the insurance plan covers. I saved money with Dr. McCoy, he was very experienced with performing accurate, thorough eye exams. He was friendly, honest, caring and his office was very convenient for me and my family. The staff was polite, professional so dont believe every thing you hear, their is always two sides to every story, nobody is perfect but his reputation is impeccable.

Unprofessional, agree with last review doctor does not know what his is doing did not get the prescription right and now I am stuck with contacts that took 6wks to arrive from his office and glasses where very poorly made and also wrong prescripton . What a waste of professionalism in this industry and a waste of my time especially the long, long, long wait in his office, and hard earn money...

I just called(1/27/16)) to make an appt for my son, since we just moved from TX hes needing a new pair of glasses, the lady who answered kept on transferring me to a voicemail, i specifically dialed the option to make an appt, it was so obvious she didnt wanted to help me.

This place is really bad, not friendly and kept me waiting for an hour and a half after I made an appointment to see the doctor to correct my perscription. I came out very upset and distressed. I will never set foot in this place again. Dont waste your time or money.
