I havent been in a Winn-Dixie in YEARS, but found myself visiting this one TWICE recently. Nearly everything I was looking for had a brand on sale or at truly reasonable prices. The store was also very clean (unlike the one near my home, which I rarely frequent). Their wine selection was small, but offered enough of a variety for me, with many bottle offered at sale prices &/or with Fuel Perks bonuses. While there, and starving, we picked up a pre-made Italian sub from the deli to split. Maybe I was starving from skipping breakfast, but that was a fine mid-day snack... very fresh, most notably in that the bread was not soggy. Check-out was swift, and on our second visit, our young cashier was exceptionally friendly. As this grocery store is closer to my dads lake house than Publix, Im sure we will return to this Winn Dixie the next time we are in Inverness.

This place was disgusting, the deli was the worst part!! The food was expired to the MAX !!! the chicken was hard as a rock ( the cold chicken) there was no care or effort put into the food what so ever, i got a anti pasta salad that was beyond disgusting, i was so mad when i got back to work for my lunch and i spent 15 dollars and that food that i literally threw straight into the dumpster. Absolutely no care for the deli food what so ever, the cold ribs had white stuff growing on them, see when i go to publix i can always go to the deli and buy already cooked cold chicken ( i prefer buffalo ) and its amazing even cold i barely have any left by the time we make it to the micro wave ( lunch for school and work) and so i tried that today at winn dixie .... yea NEVER again will i go there!!!

Im very unhappy with the highlands winn dixie store today I went in having a bad day already to only get an attitude from the so called customer service girl not sure her name but I will find out next time Im in and will be contacting somene above her! Her name is caitlin and she works the service counter.There is no need for attitude what so ever in CUSTOMER SERVICE maybe you should think about a new career very disappointed

I love the meat and seafood dept...they are always very helpful and the product they sell is good!! Disappointed in the produce section though....their fruit seems like is always going bad on the shelves when I come in. Their cashiers are very nice..though their customer service counter needs a little work..seems like the majority of the time I go up there some lady is giving me an attitude!

The only thing saving this Winn-Dixie from 2-stars or lower is their people and the customer service they provide. This store runs out of sale items daily, it seems, and the shelves are poorly stocked. Produce is my least favorite area to shop because their spinach is almost always wilting, onions are often moldy, and the selection is pretty sad.

The nicest way to put this is it doesnt compare to other Winn Dixies, especially the one in Dunnellon,your fruit was bad,the tuna u have on the outside of the case looks not so fresh,your Crab looks like it went through the ice age,looks like I will be driving a little further to go to Dunnellon WD..

Clean and well stocked with seemingly helpful staff. Retail space appears well used but not too crowded or busy, quite open rather. Coffee was cold this morning but rather hard to argue with free.

Love the.gas discount thing. I paid $1.50 per gallon at a Shell When eve eh yone.was.paying $3.40. That my friend is a deal and a half. And I aint whistling dixie.
