Another update... have now gotten a dozen or so tattoos done by Michael, including permanent eyeliner, they all are kickass, working on back piece now. Best & oldest shop in hollywood! The only place to go! ******* update: since 1st time...Marla has done more piercings for me... nose, helix, forward helix, rook and got 1st tat done by Michael and now addicted! lol Best tat/piercing shop ever! ---- Just want to say that everyone here is great... Marla rocked at doing my tragus...did both in no time and I didnt feel a thing! the owner Mike is great...friendly and just cool....I had bought the wrong jewelry so they explained all that and dealt with me while I ran back to P. Pines to buy what I wanted in the right size, got back and Marla took break from the tat she was doing and did both my tragus. Everyone there seriously is friendly...had me laughing and I needed that...so now tragus done...next...forward helix and Ill be going only to Electrik Krayon to do it. Oh and affordable too!

I had a really bad experience at this shop. I went in to get a simple zodiac tattoo on my ankle. I wanted to be tattooed by Jon, who had come highly recommended. I ended up with the owner because Jon was out that day. He was rude and refused to do what I wanted, a taurus symbol surrounded by negative space stars, because he said it wouldnt last. Instead he convinced me to get several stars with black outlines around the piece. It was unoriginal and uninspired, and I felt like he was bothered by having to do such a little piece. Then when he was adding in some color on a piece on my back that had scarred during healing, he actually had the nerve to take a phone call and carry on a 15 minute conversation with his phone propped between his ear and shoulder WHILE he finished my touch up. Needless to say, I will not return. I would expect better conduct from the store owner.

I went to see how much one of the guys would charge me to fix my half sleeve that was messed up by a previous artist. A man around his mid 50s, named Mike, was the only one at the store when I first arrived. He said that he could get a lot done within two hours and I was hoping he would keep his word. When he started working on me, he looked like he didnt know where to start on the work of my half sleeve and he only paid attention to one tattoo on it. I didnt like that he kept coughing or clearing his throat and Im feeling his breath on my arm while working on my arm. He s a rip off and and though he did somewhat of a nice job on my tattoo, Im really disappointed after hearing and seeing a lot of good reviews but came out to be otherwise. I wouldnt recommend anyone coming to see this dude!

Not happy at all! Got a tattoo that I love just unfortunately the guy went to deep and the ink bled.. It also got infected. I have had 10 tattoos before this one so trust me I know how to take care of them.. the lettering looks great and he held a steady hand but went to deep so thr letters bled together.. the infection isnt bad yet as I caught it in time and got on antibiotics right away. I recommend thinking twice before this place... I didnt tip because I didnt like the guys attitude, now Im really happy I didnt tip. My friend got one done and hers is healing nice. She had hers done by the lady there. My other friend wanted one but they refused to do small print.. now I know what they dont like doing letters.. Lesson learned... Good luck if you go here.

I have been going to Joe since 2004 and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new artist. Hes tattooed some amazing pieces on me over the years...he is the only artist I trust 100%. There have been many times Ive gone in with a general idea of what I want and let him take creative control over the piece...the end results were always gorgeous and totally "me". He did some awesome cover-ups and fixes to a few terrible tattoos I got from other artists, too. Hes done a few piercings for me as well and Ive never had an issue with the piercing, or during the healing processes. Ive sent numerous people to him over the years, all of which continue to go back for more. Joes an A++++++ artist!

They two ladies there were so nice! I went to get my navel re-pierced and Im already afraid of needles so I was scared it would hurt a lot. Of course it did hurt more than the first time because of the scar tissue, but other than that it was fine and over in a second. Everything was so clean and came out of an individualized package, which I really appreciated. Ill definitely be back for a tattoo or another piercing :)

Got 3 piercings in one day done by Jenna. I would absolutely recommend that anyone go see her for all piercings. She knows what she is doing-- she is thorough and professional but it also very calming and will even make you laugh a bit which was a big thing for me as Im always nervous before a new piercing. I will definitely be returning for all of my future piercings!

my experience was great i went to get a tragus piercing and it was simple quick and painless Mara ( i believe that was her name) was the one that pierced me and she talked me through it and made sure i was comfortable :) my girlfriend also wanted a tattoo and she tattooed her as well it came out great & i love both my piercing & my gfs tattoo, i will be going back :)

I love Joe. My friend has been going to him for years, so I went to check him out. He is now my tattoo artist, and I have sent him clients. The place is great, good atmosphere, friendly artist. I have also been pierced by the girl (whose name I cannot remember now) and she did an excellent job as well. I have, and will continue to, recommend this place.

Very bad tattoo. Not only was my design completely different it was a different color than what i wanted. Did not fully shave the area and there was deep scarring. Very bad line work and colouring outside of the line. Tattoo was rushed and I do not recommend this place to anyone. Mistake on me for the rest of my life.

I got my lip piercings(Hoop rings) done here 2 times and will more than likely be stopping by here again. The work and atmosphere here is amazing, professional, and all around very cool vibes. Definitely worth the money. And definitely recommend anyone looking for quality, professionally done piercings and tattoos.

I went to get an industrial piercing, service was really good and the people were friendly, but my piercing was pierced in the wrong position and eventually fell out, which was painful. I went three months later to get it re-pierced and it came out fabulous.Totally recommend!
