I wish I could give Kirk at Gulfport Florist a 100 star rating. I cant tell you what a blessing Kirk was!! Something about the word "wedding" seems to make people automatically start adding the word "thousand" or "hundred" to EVERYTHING!! Which is just ridiculous! Since when is a wedding about gouging two people who are trying to celebrate love? This is where Gulfport Florist comes in. I made a lot of my own decorations, and most of the quotes I got were offensively high, all I needed was 4 bouquets, 6 boutonnieres, and 100 bulk roses open and beautiful for me to do my own crafts with. So many florists almost seemed turned off that I wanted to make my own centerpieces, but not Kirk- he was so helpful in suggesting different kinds of flowers I might like, as well as consulting his staff on any tips they might have for me, and even helping me problem solve along the way! Originally I was going to make my centerpieces and bouquets, but as the wedding drew closer I knew I needed to pass off more "day-of" tasks, and was so confident in Kirk, that I was happy to let him take care of it and Im so glad I did!! Im a crafty person and really enjoy making things, I was so afraid that I wasnt going to get what I wanted if I let someone else do it, but Kirk blew my expectations away. the flowers were perfect! He took the time to even ask me how full in bloom I wanted the roses to be, and he monitored the flowers for a week in his cooler to make them absolutely perfect for me. My flowers smelled simply intoxicating, looked gorgeous, and were crafted with such professionalism and expertise. Gulfport florist is truly a "bride-driven-vendor", they wont bully you or push you into something you dont want. They will take the time to really listen and help make sure you get exactly what will make you happiest on your special day :)

Ya know, you dont get the customer service like you used to anymore BUT at Gulfpost, you sure will! I live in Roanoke, Va and it was my grandmothers birthday and I needed flowers sent to her at the hospital. Kirk , made sure he got it done in a timely manor, then my grandmother was moved to a rehap center and Kirk called me to let me know that she wasnt at the hospiital anymore,he told me where he was going to leave the flowers so my family could pick them up. I felt so bad that he had to go through all this trouble and my grandmother wasnt in the hospital anymore. He said it happens all the time, not to worry.He said that if I needed ANYTHING to give him a call.FANTASTIC! I am a buisness owner, and he made me feel so wonderful, repected and he appreciated my buisness! That makes me have a fuzzy tickle in my stomach. For someone to go out of there way and cared so much, I just cant thank him enough! Kirk, you are wonderful , and you made my grandmothers birthday. Your flowers were beautiful as well. Kirk, Thank you so much for the time you spent with us and for all your helpful suggestions. I was there with my daughter & her fiance to purchase her bridal bouquet. What you didnt know is that we had just left another florist with my daughter in tears because of the awful experience we had there. They were more interested in making a sale and were rushing her to make a decision after having shown her only 2 flowers. When we got to your shop, you immediately made us feel welcome. You took the time to listen to what she wanted and helped make suggestions. You even brought fresh flowers to show her and jokingly struggled to arrange them into the form of a bouquet to give her an idea of what it would look like. You were awesome and the epitomy of what Good Customer Service should be. The bouquet was absolutely gorgeous and stayed fresh throughout her beach wedding ceremony and reception. To anyone out there, save yourself the time and trouble and go straight to THE BEST. I cant say enough good things about Kirk, he is AWESOME, not to mention the BEAUTIFUL FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS. Made a phone call from across country and they helped me pick flowers for GF who was staying in FL during Valentines day. The girlfriend loved the flowers and said they looked amazing. She sent me a picture and I couldnt agree more, these werent your standard flowers from Wal-Mart, these were top notch tastefully designed and put together. Stayed on the phone with me for a while and walked me through a ton of options because I didnt know exactly what I wanted. Also helped me put together a valentines day note. Definitely outstanding experience. By the way, how the heck do you guys make multicolored sunflowers??? That blew my mind and the GFs. Made all her friends jealous. Leonna couldnt be happier.

From the moment he answered the phone, Kirk with Gulfport Florist was very helpful and I will not hesitate to use Gulfport Florist again! I was calling from out of town and he helped me decide on the appropriate arrangement and over a three day period he called the hospital where I wanted my delivery taken to until he could confirm that the receipient was out of ICU and was able to receive the delivery. He personally handed the greeting card to the receiving party and then gave me an update on the condition of the patient. I will recommend Gulfport Florist to anyone who is looking for a florist with GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thanks so much for all your help Kirk !

Kirk is the best ever. I live in New England, and my friend moved to St Pete, so I wanted to send her something special to cheer her up. She loves dandelions(I know, a little weird) but apparently they dont grow in Florida. Kirk suggested button poms instead, and they look like pretty much the same thing. So, we put them in with the roses and she LOVED them. He told me about a mysterious designer, and I want to thank her for putting it all together for me as well, though I cant thank her by name. The price was excellent, the service without peer, and I was able to put a smile on my distant friends face. I cant say enough good things about Gulfport Florist.

I called Kirk at Gulfport Florist after a dissapointing experience with another florist. I was looking for a very hard to find flower for my wedding , and every other florist I called could not help me. Kirk took on the challenge of finding the plumeria diligently. He was in constant communication, keeping me in the loop of what was going on and came through fantastically! He not only found the extra plumeria for my decoration but made my Bouquet, corsages and boutonnieres beautifully!! He made the impossible- possible! I will defenitly do business with Gulfport florist again!

Gulf Port Florist provided the flowers for my wedding recently and I cannot express enough what an amazing job they did with everything. Kirk is an awesome guy who is more than willing to bend over backwards to make sure everything is exactly the way you want it to be. My bouquet was exactly as I imagined it to be, and the centerpieces for the reception were absolutely GORGEOUS. The quality of their work is amazing and their customer service skills are top notch.
