Changed BACK to Walgreens from Target (CVS) since (just like Walgreens did years ago) Target stopped taking TriCare. The Walgreens experience was excellent when I used them before BUT NOT NOW! I have only been back for three weeks and with every prescription, it has been a hassle. It starts out with a very long wait on the phone. My doctor CALLED IN a prescription for an antibiotic and so about 30 minutes later I tried to call to see when I could pick it up. Tonight it was 12 minutes of waiting on the phone and then when I finally got someone on the phone, she transferred me "to the front of the pharmacy" and CUT ME OFF! Of course, I didnt know I had been cut off for about 10 minutes since I didnt have the intermittent dial tone to indicate such. SO, I had to start all over again. When I finally got the pharmacy the second time, they told me the computer system wouldnt update for two hours and to call back! So, here is my question...If I was standing there with a prescription in hand, would they tell me to come back in two hours to see if it was approved and filled? Do they not allow people to wait on their prescription? What is the difference in the doctor calling in and handing one in while you are in the store? I asked the person I was speaking with, if they are so busy they cant handle the work load. She said, Exactly"! So, if that is the case, I am changing to a less busy pharmacy. Publix, I am calling you tomorrow. This Walgreen used to be really good. Not anymore!

The best part about the location of this Walgreens is that its right across the street from the movie theater. So you can always come here to get candy before you go see a movie. Fortunately, Walgreens candy selection is quite expansive, so you should have no trouble finding something you like.
