When I first walked in to Messmer florist, I met with Heather, the owner. She didnt really smile, seemed a little annoyed but I thought maybe its just a bad day. I decided to go with them for my wedding flowers because despite that she understood what I wanted and said she could make it happen. I asked about the deposit she told me to leave $20. I left $100. My receipt stated "Balance due upon delivery" COD. I received multiple calls from asking if I wanted to leave more of a deposit. I stated no. She called 11 days before the wedding to ask if she was still doing our flowers. I stated yes and she then informed me that she needed the balance paid before she would order my flowers. We paid half the balance. When they delivered the flowers on my wedding day, they were terrible. My $200 bouquet looked like something for a child. And the bridesmaids bouquets were small and awful After a phone call from my mother they came to fix the flowers. The whole time with a puss on their face and an attitude. Anyone looking for flowers, look elsewhere and if you meet with someone they dont smile, walk away

I went to Ruth Messmer on a Wednesday to order flowers for an event on Saturday. I was assured that I would be able to pick up the flowers the day of the event. I called on Saturday and after half an hour with a representative who could barely speak english, I wash informed that the store was on vacation from Thursday until Monday. I am very dissatisfied with my experience. The staff are not aware of the companys policy. The answering service is terrible and unhelpful. I would not use this store again.

Called from Michigan on 2/15/21011 to order flowers for our Mothers birthday and Shelly was very nice and helpful. The flowers and chocolate arrived on time and were everything we expected and more. I will use this florist again when sending flowers to Fort Myers. Thanks for making her birthday special.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Couldnt be happier! I needed flowers delivered (at the last minute) to my wife. When they delivered to her workplace, the office was already closed SO, they made a special delivery to my house! My wife was happy, I was REALLY happy and I cant thank Ruth Messmer Florist enought!!!

I purchased some flowers for my wife. The flowers looked nice but the container or can was all beat up and dented. Its about the details. I mean would it have broke you to give me a new can? Expected better.
