When my daughter wanted to get a piercing I didnt really know how to handle it. I dont know anything about this sort of thing. The images I had were of the gang type tattoo parlors Ive seen in movies. Like any protective father, I wasnt going to let my daughter anywhere near a place like that. After some internet research I found a group called the Association of Professional Piercers and one of their members in Fort Myers (almost an hour from where we live). Let me tell you it was worth the drive! When we finally found the place, I was relieved to find that it was clean and the entire staff was very professional. The man who pierced my daughter was very friendly and patient while my nervous daughter (and her nervous father) asked him dozens of questions and made him show us what seemed like 100 or more jewelry choices. The room he took us to for the piercing was like a doctors office and the piercing was very quick and my daughter said it didnt even hurt her. For all the other parents out there going through this, it was definitely worth the drive. Although Im not fond of my daughters piercing, at least I know it was done safely.

With two complete sleeves Im no stranger to the world of tattoo artwork, artists and shops. If the ratings scale on Google allowed for more than five stars Id give them. This shop is fantastic and a must see. Cody at the desk, a friendly and amenable guy, helpful. The real star however is their tattoo artist by the name of Savannah, in a word WOW. She "got" my ideas for a new trash polka tattoo piece for my chest, rib cage area and partial back. I could not ask for more. Highly imaginative, active listener to my ideas and with her creative twist, created an amazing piece. She worked quickly, light touch always checking how I was, reviewing the artwork as we moved along in the process. Now the piece is done, some more ideas to add on another visit soon. I couldnt be happier and wouldnt consider going anywhere else - Ive finally found a artist that I trust, whose skill, creativity, personality and technique are a perfect fit. Thank you SO much - looking forward to round two. James

With so many amazing local artists here in the SWFL tattoo scene, there were a lot of great options for me to get my ink done. Not only was I looking for me, but I was also looking to get my little sister a tattoo for her birthday. You better believe I am not going to just let anyone stick needles into my baby sister. (Shes 20, not really a baby LOL) After much searching around, I decided on Savannah as our artist. In addition to my sisters tattoo, so far I have been in for two portrait sessions with Savannah and I couldnt be happier. Her work more than speaks for itself but her bedside manner is definitely worth noting. She is very sweet and accommodating. Above all that, she is very knowledgeable and seems to stay up to date on new advancements in the industry. I cant wait for my next session with her. As soon as I am done remodeling my house and I have some extra cash, my fat butt will be right back in her chair!

Do not even think about going to this place. they have the worst attitudes and absolutely no talent. I think the tattoo artists are straight out of the everglades swamp and home schooled. The positive reviews on this site are clearly NOT current. this place is nasty! I have seen quite a few tattoos they have done and they are extremely bad. Every person I have talked to about this place has been horrified. The worst reputation for a tattoo and piercing shop in south west florida. There is also a second location which is just as bad called pleasures of the flesh. Both locations are owned by the same guy and they have the absolute worst quality of tattoos and piercings. nasty people with no skills.

The job that was done on myself and husband was really good work. Mine was a small tattoo and the price was fine. My husband got a larger tattoo which came out pretty awesome. The reason I gave 3 stars was because the artist I felt was trying to be sneaky. I watched because he told us a week before that they charged $100 per hour with NO charge for breaks. So I watched the clock real careful. He tried to charge us for all the breaks including his smoke breaks and to take pictures for HIS portfolio. We should have paid $200 dollars IF he was being honest. He charged us $250 AFTER I ask why am I paying for breaks? We still overpaid. My advice, if you go, pay REAL close attention to the timer!!

This review is for Tyler that works at Needful things, I have had ever single tattoo on my body from him and they are absolutely beautiful. The shop itself is amazing and the people that work there are friendly and helpful. I have had 8 decent sized pieces from Tyler 2 being cover ups and they all turn out impeccable. The quality of what he does and the precision he uses is by far better than anyone else. He is a all around great guy that is an amazing artist to add, if you need a tattoo go see Tyler. The other artists in the shop are very good too and as soon as you walk in you are always warmly greeted by the fellow employees.

This place is one of the greatest tattoo studios I have ever walked into. The moment I walked in the staff was very helpful! They stopped what they were doing to help me with my navel jewelry. I was very impressed. Then they set up an appointment to have my tattoo redone. It was a tattoo that I had received at another studio in town, and I was unhappy with the results. I would recommend this studio to anyone who had a bad experience somewhere else, or who was just looking for an extremely clean, and professional place to go. They genuinely care!

Savannah (hope thats spelled right!) did my friend and Is tattoo, and she really made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Theres a lot of times where I feel very awkward and stupid in tattoo shops and she made me feel the exact opposite of that. Our ideas were pretty vague and she really put her own style and opinions to it to make it perfect. 10/10 would come again! I should also add that no sterilization process was hidden of behind closed doors. I was able to see and even ask questions about the process. Go to savannah she did awesome!!

So, I just moved to Florida and Ive been wanting to find a tattoo artist down here. I was recommended to Tyler at Needful Things from a mutual friend...I got my BIGGEST tattoo so far from Tyler! He is so fun! :) Takes his time and actually CARES about you and your comfort during the whole process. I absolutely adore my tattoo, and I will be going back to see him for more!!! Thanks Tyler :)
