Though it was a couple years ago, as I come to think about getting my belly button repierced and have heard others thinking of piercing theirs, I remember my experience with this shop. I would not recommend True North for piercings. I stopped in on multiple occasions being told theyd be open and available prior to the visits, I was not seen until probably my third trip there. They promised discounts for my troubles but did not provide them. The piercer did his job and I went home. My piercing was extremely high, above the belly button rather than through it like I had seen on everyone else. I went back and was assured that it looked normal and that I was seeing incorrectly. Because of its odd location, my piercing caught on everything. Shortly after getting this piercing, my body rejected it. I am now looking into a piercing shop with good customer service and that uses a higher quality metal now that I am considering getting it pierced again. I would not recommend True North for piercings. I have gone to another location in Wadsworth for my cartilage and forward helix and had no problem and experienced excellent customer service. It makes me think the people at this shop dont care much about their customers and their relationship with the community. I hope this has improved, but I wont go back, so youll have to find out and report back to me.

I met Tom after stopping in for a visit. I had a birthday card my Mom had signed. I lost her two year ago, and i was very close to both of my parents. I showed Tom the card with her signature. Tom came up with a great idea of putting her signature inside the stem of a red rose. I made an appt., and a few days later Tom worked his magic. To say that the job Tom did was perfect would be an understatement. Its as if Tom could feel what I wanted. Im looking at it now and its exactly what I wanted and I have Tom to thank for that. Dont make Truth North Tattoo your second or third stop, make them your first and I can guarantee youre going to be very happy. Thank you, Tom. George G.

Not only is this shop beautifully designed and amazingly clean, the tattoo and piercing artists are professional and wonderful. I saw Al for a tattoo cover and the result was gorgeous. I would never go anywhere else after seeing the great work being done here.
