I stopped in to get some info on some gently used professional business attire I wanted to sell. The woman working gave me a post card that spelled out all of the brands that they purchase. Sure enough everything I had was brand name list of items they purchase. I went home and gathered up all my items and brought them in and every single one was rejected. I asked why. They gave me some explanation about fading and pilling. Ate u kidding me? This stuff had hardly ever been worn or washed.. so I went back home and thought about this. I decided to do a test. I had 5 brand name articles that are on their list in my closet with tags on them that I had NEVER wore or washed. I packed those up and went back. Guess what? They were all rejected...I asked why. Same story... faded and pilling...BULLSHIT THEY WERE BRAND NEW, NEVER WORN OR WASHED.. so I started talking to people this about this..I asked all 22 real estate agents in my office if they have heard of this place. Then somebody from The Lodge downtown told me that the whole buying thing is just a front for a store that sells clothes that they purchase from garage sales!!! WTF? Nothing I hate worse than scammers.. I have since found a consignment store where my cloths dont sit on a rack for more than 2 days. My advice would be to stay away from the Cloths Mentor...Something real fishy going on there...

As a former employee I can understand all the comments on here..I also see some current employees trying to rate them 4 or 5 stars lol u make min wage here really guys... they have no inventory to buy they depend on the people to bring stuff in and they resale it u can go to Goodwill and find great brand new items and resale at clothes mentor if in great condition. These people work u harder than if u were at Macys or Nordstrom lol and very ungrateful. They are a million dollar company but give u $8 hr and u will work like your in a marathon no BS..If u r ever sick u must find your own replacement and they get pissed if u cant. There are no benefits and u will do it all..Phones, customer service, dressing rooms, manicans, cleaning duties, straightening and if they call your name u had better run to them lol I wouldnt recommend this store to work in or shop unless u like used clothes sometimes they have new things but rarely.

Four years ago I brought in a bunch of business attire, Anne Taylor, Loft etc. Most items,no joke, in excellent condition and at most 1-2.5 years old. Most were rejected. The other day I went back in with another bunch of clothes, all brands that they have on their racks, and which I have bought there as well. Again majority was rejected. However, there was a blouse in this bunch they rejected 4 years ago, and bought it this time. Sounds a little fishy to me. I will say I have bought some nice items there and the prices are good. I will also say staff needs some overhauling! !! Didnt realize I wad posting to the Ft Myers store....this happened in the Naples location.

Was told to go here by the girls at Platos Closet since the item I wanted to sell was "too high end". The ladies at the front register were rude from the second I walked in. Got an estimate on my dress, ($60 brand new, never worn) which I might have been happy with had they not told me "Well buy it for $5 and sell it for $35". Seriously? These clothes buy-back stores are serious;y fishy considering they tell you a style is out of date, but have older items hanging on their racks!

So unprofessional I took clothes in lady told me it will take 15 mins to check my stuff. I came back 25 mins my name still wasnt on the board basically long story short I been waiting over a hour!!! Than I just go so impatient to get my stuff checked or not . I asked for my belongings and than she says my stuff been looked at all ready they just forgot to put my name on the board !!! Absolutely horrible Ill give them no stars if I can just nasty people!!!!!

PLEASE CHECK YOUR RETURNED ITEMS IN STORE THE MINUTE YOU RECIEVE THEM! I brought in gently used brand name clothes but was told they werent in style so all was returned. When I got home and checked the bag to donate them, half of my shirts were missing!!!!! They just stuffed the pants in balls at the bottom of the bag and folded the shirts neatly at the top. PLEASE CHECK YOUR BAGS IN FRONT OF THEM!!!

They are picky in the fashions that they buy so that their selection is top-notch. All fashions they accept are carefully selected and are current trends. The staff goes out of their way to provide a personal and positive experience. Clothes are priced incredibly reasonably.

I took in some clothes. They told me Id have to wait 45 minutes. While waiting I shopped and couldnt find anything good at all. I waited for 1 and 1/2 hours, not just 45 minutes. They told me my clothes were beautiful but wouldnt buy them. I cant believe they wouldnt.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES HERE!! They offer peanuts for what they will take and their inventory is older than what they are willing to take in. Horrible horrible horrible. Try selling it for 99 cents on ebay first, youll get more!

First off RUDE ladies running it!! Second, it is waaaayyyy to hot in the dressing rooms!!!Top notch clothes?? If you think Old Navy and Mosslmo top notch! Some things are nice, but much out dated.

They are top noch high end, but very reasonable prices . they only take current fashion past 2years anything older and if its not a name brand dont bring it in. Staff is very nice and helpful .
