My car was acting like it wanted to stall out so i see this place and pull in, the guy tells me to start it up again and pull around to the front bays. So when the guy meets me over there he says we are going to have to check the engine. He was checking the battery and telling me his sob story about how he has to move in a week and cant find an apartment a little awkward and normally empathetic to other peoples problems but i just wanted to know wtf was going on with my car. Then he walks off into the store doesnt really say anything except that the battery was fine. So i wait for about 15min nobody comes to the car. I go inside and the same guy tells me to hang tight. 45min later i havent left the keys with anyone and i was going to go grab something to eat with my roomate who came to pick me up. I ask another mechanic if i should just leave the keys with him or the store what do i do? Of coarse he has an attitude when i tell him that they are supposed to be looking at it but sob story didnt write up the ticket. Not my problem. Then he tells me nothing is wrong with it but i probably need a tune up. Ok how much does that cost is my first question. He says around $300 im thinking it was bs and i ask more questions if its gonna solve the problem and gets all bipolar pissy and walks away and says if it keeps acting like its going to stall out then bring it back. Now the whole point of bringing it to the mechanic is to fix the problem before im broke down on the side of the road possibly with a 4yr old...jack ass. I went across the street and they found and fixed the 4 DIFFERENT problems that my car had. THIS PLACE IS COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL GLAD I GOT A 2ND OPINION

AC REPAIR MAN SCAM ARTIST AT ITS FINEST. AC HAD BEEN RUNNING FINE FOR YEARS. JUST A SMALL LEAK STARTED ON THE RIGHT SIDE WHERE IT USUALLY LEAKS ON THE LEFT WHERE WE HAVE A FUNNEL DEVICE TO CATCH THE WATER. LEAVES AND DIRT CAUSED THE FUNNEL TO CLOG SENDING THE WATER OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE AC WHERE WE HAD NOTHING TO CATCH THE WATER. SO THE WATER WAS CONTINUOSLY DRIPPING INTO THE GRASS EVENTUALLY KILLING IT AND CAUSE A MUD PUDDLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE YARD, ALSO IT BEGAN TO RUN ON THE SIDE OF THE HOUSE CAUSING MILDEW AND EVENTUALLY MOLD AT THE BASE OF THE HOUSE SO I HAD MY MOM CALL SEARS TO COME FIX THE LEAK. MY MOM SAID HE CAME AND FIXED THE LEAK NO PROBLEM. BUT SOMETHING THAT MADE ME SAY HUMMMM, SHE SAID HE TOLD HER HE WOULD BE BACK ON MONDAY BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE WE MAY NEED FRION : CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG BUT DONT THEY MAKE A DEVICE WHERE YOU CAN CHECK THE AMOUNT OF FRION IN THE AC????? BUT ANY WAYMONDAY MORNING COMES AND SURE ENOUGH A KNOCK AT THE DOOR COMES. HE GOES TO THE BACKYARD COMES BACK AND HAS A ESTIMATE FOR 5,000 STATING WE NEED A NEW COIL. AND A BILL FOR THE SECOND HOUSE VISIT IN COUPLE DAY FOR 69.99. MY MOTHER QUICKLY DECLINES THE 5,000 SERVICE BECAUSE THERE HAD BEEN NO CHANGE IN THE TEMPERATURE TO WARRANT FRION OR A 5,000 JOB SO SHE DECLINED THE OFFER. THE REPAIR MAN GOES BACK INTO THE BACKYARD THE AC IS BROKEN DOWN AND OPEN SO HE OBVIOUSLY HAS TO PUT THE AC BACK TOGETHER. LESS THAN 10 HOURS LATER AIR CONDITION STARTS MAKING NOISES AS IF ITS GOING TO EXPLODE.

0 stars. I had a woman named Emmy Hofmann come to my home today for an air conditioner quote and I had to ask her to leave my home. I have never experienced such poor, rude, or unprofessional service. She was exceedingly unprofessional in her demeanor from the start. She raised her voice at me when I politely requested quotes for specific parts of the installation process (i.e. if I could keep my existing thermostat). She also told me, "our services are very expensive and I am sure you will get cheaper quotes elsewhere." This was after I simply showed her my air conditioner and asked about the thermostat. To call her "sale ability" unhelpful or uninformative would be gross understatements. The worst sales service I have ever experienced. Her tone and comments forced me to open my door and gesture her to kindly leave my home. I would not recommend this department, their service, or allow this woman into your home. I will go out of my way to tell my friends and family not to request Sears services.

Its Saturday 9/10/2016 I dropped my car off to this location around 2pm for rear tires great service great communication no issues. I received no phone calls or communication there after. I must have called 3 or 4 times throughout the day to check status ect... I received no real answers on anything accept, "yah its being taken care of its getting worked on." I asked consistently "Do I need to leave it overnight?"..... "When will it be ready?"...... I received no calls back, finally I showed up at closing time and the car hadnt been touched. They started working on the car around 7:30pm. I left and my car is still at the shop. Here is the kicker....... They only had one of the 2 tires in stock so all they had to do in a five and a half hours time is change one tire on my car....... This is ridiculous bcs well I still dont have my car.

I took my vehicle there for a battery and oil change. Next morning I picked up my vehicle and noticed the gasket on my passenger side of my pickup was missing, I called and no one knows what happened nor why it would happen. I am left without a gasket for my door and the manager, Daniel, handled the problem unprofessionally. I had to call back a few times and was basically treated sarcastically about the whole incident. Be aware of this store and think of going somewhere else. I was basically told that it doesnt make any sense so therefore he dismissed it as a non issue. I will not return nor would I advise anyone with out of state plates on your vehicle. I am left with additional expense to return my car to its original state.

How can a company have only one person in automotive sales with a big holiday sale going on, that can barely speak English, knows nothing about cars, and managers and/or more knowledgeable help to speak with are non existant.. I couldnt even get him to understand that theres a sale going on and he would not acknowledge the publicly advertised sales price... Its no wonder sears is going out of business.. Pathetic..

This Sears has a lot of empty shelves. The staff, of the seven times that Ive been there, were never eagerly helpful. I always felt that the store was about to close at any minute with vacant spaces and invisible staff. Seems more like a going-out-business Big Lots than a Sears. Perhaps this is the reason for the employees opposition to customer attentiveness.

I love this place, yes it is an old building, (been there since 1954 I was told) but is has character. Most times you might be one of the only customers in the store, but the employees are very helpful, especially in the tool department (my favorite place). I always seem to find great deals there and most times you have the store to yourself.
