awesome manager! so the 9 volt batteries in my familys homes fire detectors have been beeping for days! finally my wife snaps and i make a mad dash to Winn Dixie to get batteries before they close.....i was too late. a lady right in front of me was trying to get in as well for a phone charger but we were both being turned away by the manager as he was locking up. in a ditch effort last resort plea to save my wifes sanity, i begged the manager to let me quickly grab the precious items i needed. Maybe this man had been in my shoes because he took pity on me , and phone charger lady, and let us in. he even escorted me to the battery section to expedite my visit. as i payed for my batteries he went and unlocked the doors so these awesome employees of winn dixie could finally end their night by letting my pain in the ass self out and close up shop. on the way out i told the manager how much i appreciated what he had done and he responded with a "beep......beep.......beep....beep".

People say Winnie-Dixie v.s. Publix an awful lot without acknowledging the fact that every store location has the right to a different distributor for different items. The meat and vegetables at this location is the best out of most Winnie Dixies and Publix stores Ive shopped at in Miami. I rarely need to drive to a nearby Publix occasionally for other essentials.

They do have some good deals, but you have to get a card to get discount price, if not you pay out the butt for anything there. The prices are way to, high there.. Example... Tombstone pizza 5.99... @ shop & save 3.50 @ Walmart 3.33 same exact product.. Only time I go is if I need 1 specialty item and Im close to it.

This store is dirty, there are rarely ever baggers, many of the registers are frequently unopen resulting in long lines, the staff pretty much wear what they want and forget about the service/courtesy desk. Very rude and not very helpful. Prices are better then public BUT you get what you pay for.

Great customer service and great sales. Also you save money on gas with the rewards card! I paid 8 dollars for 20 gallons of gas before.
