I have gone to this Publix for 10 years and I work on 58 street so its extremely convenient. Despite most of the staff always being rude, I have an unhealthy obsession with Publix subs. They are my absolute favorite sandwich!! I love when Publix started online ordering because then I didnt have to wait in a huge line just to get sandwich. But lately, they have taken a turn for the WORST!!! I have placed orders online to be ready when I get there, but find out the sandwich wasnt ready and had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the sub. Another time, I ordered my sub and was given the opposite of everything. I ask for Wheat bread and they give me White. I ask it not to be toasted and they give me toasted. I ask for spinach and they give me lettuce. I ask for cucumbers and they give me pickles. I was so upset but just figured at least I was able to eat something. But the last time, which was yesterday, I was completely grossed out. I asked for my sub to be ready by 12:30, however I arrived earlier than expected and got there at 12:05. So I walk to the deli and find my sub already made (25 minutes early). In my mind, I said great, now I dont have to wait! So I paid for my sub and left. When I got back to work, I was disgusted when I opened the sub. I asked for light mayo and light vinegar. This employee decided to give me EXTRA EXTRA Mayo, EXTRA EXTRA Vinegar and EXTRA EXTRA Oil. The sub was so soggy, I have to just pick the chicken out and throw away the rest. If I would have picked up my sub ontime at 12:30, it would have probably broken thru the paper of how soggy it would have been. For someone who orders a sandwich at least twice a week, Im extremely disappointed with this. I called to speak to a manager and was left on hold for 45 minutes. Everytime someone came back to the line, I was told to continue to hold. At the end, the same person who had been answering the phone said they were the manager and what was my problem. Although I dont think it was the real manager, I explained what happened. His response was, Ok, what do you want me to do about it? I was shocked. So since there is a new Publix opened on NW 74 Street, I will now drive a little further to get a better experience as well as a better sub. It sucks when you pay for something you expect to get, and thats not what you get! I only called to inform the manager of what happened, didnt even ask for a free sub (which is what I should be given).

Waited 15mins in the sub line 2 workers one in the hot case one in the slice meat section. Ignored completely by both of them while they attended other customers who have come later to the line on both sides avoiding eye contact with me. The moment I speak up about it the lady starts complaining about how it is not her fault she went to the hot case to serve customers when no one was on the sub line before I got there...

Publix is publix and its one of the best grocery stores in the country. But when I order a sandwich online over and hour and a half earlier than the scheduled pick up time. And they only start the sand which when I get here and ask them about it is a little pushing it for me. The pretty much is no guarantee that ordering online will help you get your food faster. Its a bit more frustrating when youre very hungry.

The deli employees lacks customer service skills. They need to be more friendly and have more manners. Also if there are 4 people in the deli how is possible that i have yo wait 28 minutes to order a sandwich.

Publix is usually great, and I always come here, normally it would be 5 stars but they remolded and decided to put the AC at 40 degrees got a cold just shopping for an hour. Take a coat thats all I will say.
