By far the worst experience at a machine shop I ever had. I will try to not go into too much detail, but enough to warn people to stay away from this place at all costs. Terrible customer service/communication, employees are very rude and not personable. They had my cylinder head for over a month doing a valve job (Resurface valve seats,replace seals, decking the mating surface), after they had returned it I found that one of the valves was improperly machined. I opted to shim the valve buckets myself, however this has no bearing on the valve not being machined properly, the seat was set way too close to the edge near the valve face and it was too wide. I returned it to hopefully have them fix their mistake, and I was informed by the machinist that it should have never left the shop that way. They were to order a new intake valve and lap it. A little over two weeks passes by and I am finally able to get my cylinder head back from them. When I went to pick it up they tried to charge me for the new valve, the labor for lapping it and installing it, and shimming the valve buckets (which I had already done before I brought it back to them to fix the valve seat issue). I wouldnt recommend this shop to anyone, if you are in the Deland/Orange City/Deltona area and are looking for a good place to go...you may have to venture out towards Winter Park.

I have been a fan of Deland auto parts for over a decade. They have never ever let me down, unlike all of the other big box parts stores in town. They go well above and beyond, they dont need years and models they already know what they are looking at before you tell them. Top notch professionals.

They need better signage hard to find but good people and prices
