Very bad customer service ! Aldo has been my go to store for dress shoes for many years. Couple years ago I bought a pair of shoes at the Aldo store in Galeria mall in Sunrise. When I got back home I realized that the store employee had mistakenly put shoes of two different sizes in the box. The next day I had to drive back to the store and get the correct size. When I got to the store and told them about it, the girl took the box inside and came back with the right size and all she had to say was "sorry about that". I found it a little weird considering I had to make an extra trip due their error. But I didnt worry about it much back then. A few weeks ago, I bought another pair of shoes at this Aldo store in Coral square mall. They didnt have my size so they set it up to be shipped at my home. A week later I got the shipment and I received two pairs of the same shoes. I checked my credit card transactions and I was charged only once, so apparently they sent me an extra pair by error. Me being an honest man, decided to return the extra pair at their store. So a week later, I took time and went out of the way to the mall with the sole purpose of giving them the extra pair back. I went to the Aldo store and informed them of their error and that I wanted give the extra pair back. Firstly the two girls working their looked at me with great suspicion as if I was trying to scam them or something. I told them that I only want to give them this pair of shoe back and even though I have checked my bank statements and I was only charged once, I would appreciate if they can check from their side that I wasnt charged twice just in case I missed it or if their is any pending transaction. The girl seemed annoyed by that as she had to call someone to ensure that. She started calling between helping other customers, and I had to wait for 10 minutes before she could talk to someone and make sure I wasnt charged twice. And once she confirmed that, she came back and she was like "you were only charged once" and she goes back to helping other customers. And I was surprised that, thats all she had to say. To be clear I was not expecting them to give me a standing ovation or something, but since I had taken time and effort just to return an extra pair I got due to THEIR error, a simple "Thank you, we really appreciate your honesty" would have been nice. But considering my two similar experiences, I am guessing it is Aldos general policy to be rude to their customers. I like Aldo shoes, I like their style and the way they fit, but this last incident really turned me off.

This store at the coral square mall have zero customer service.First of all I owned over 20 pairs of aldo shoes but this experience will be my last.I ordered 2 pairs of the same shoe because I didnt know which one would fit the best.One pair was shipped to my home and the other at the mall.Shipping took over 2 weeks with no tracking information and when I called the store to check the have an attitude.Finally the shoe arrived and no one notified me that the shoe was there.I went to pick up and the shoe was damage,the box falling apart and my receipt was not properly attached to my item like it should be.No problem,I told the girl I would like to return the extra pair but my bank card was new and she refused to return the shoe or properly explained to me why she couldnt return it.She said I need to get a letter from the bank which was all bull.I called customer service and they told me I could have called the bank right there to confirm but this girl felt so bothered so she didnt explained.Now Im so annoyed that Im going to return 3 pairs instead of 1.Aldo in Galleria Mall is so much better but Im done with Aldo and their trashy customer service.
