Bassimo Beach Cafe - If You Want A Breakfast to Remember, Come Here My husband and I were searching for an organic, vegetarian restaurant in Clearwater Beach. This was the only result that popped up, and it really does seem to be the only organic place in Clearwater Beach. I AM SO GLAD WE FOUND IT! Everything we ordered was truly delicious. Even the regular brewed coffee. Smooth, rich, and fresh. The egg sandwich was excellent, with the scrambled eggs made just right and super fresh (we should know, we raised chickens for years). My husbands coconut smoothie had the subtlest hints of nutmeg and cinnamon...it was perfection. And his oatmeal, as well, was delicately spiced and had a wonderful texture to it. The place is family run. The owner, his wife and kids all work here. They make EVERYTHING to order. This means it is fresh and tasty and done to your specifications. It also means you are going to wait longer than normal. So, if you want a delicious and healthy breakfast or lunch, come with a good converstion partner, or the paper, or your laptop, and relax during your wait. I assure you, it will be worth it!!

We were beyond well taken care of at Basimo. The owners, Lori and Joseph, are amazing. Both of my sons have food (different) allergies, and we were in a bit of a rush to meet up with our tour--Lori adjusted the menu so both boys could eat without hesitation, and she and Joseph were friendly and charming while they prepared our food. Their sweet, friendly son visited with my youngest and showed him some soccer moves--which thrilled Josh and he talked about it for the next three days. The food was exceptional as were the smoothies and coffee. Spotless, friendly, delicious and healthy--you cant ask for a better experience. We were so happy to find fresh organic healthy food while traveling--not easy to come by! I give Basimo Beach Cafe my highest recommendation and only wish I lived nearby so I could come have a smoothie every day! Thank you Lori and Joseph!

I was really excited to find some healthier organic fare amongst all the fast food and chain restaurants nearby. I looked them up the night before and saw that they open at 8. Got here at 8:15 and no one was here :( When they arrived a few minutes later they seemed very rushed to get started. I was really looking forward to the homemade almond milk, to which they didnt have any (no Brazil nut milk either, which I think is also supposed to be homemade). I thought they would just tell me when theyd make some, but the woman said "someone can go out and grab some when we go out later". Uhhh. I ordered the yogurt parfait which was good although nothing really special. I actually might come back to give them a second chance, because things happen and I dont know whats up today. There are many great reviews on here, so maybe this was just an off day.

Wir wurden leider enttäuscht. Das organic oatmeal kam fix fertig aus der Packung, War viel zu süß und schmeckte künstlich. Es wäre besser, bio Haferflocken mit Milch und ein bisschen Honig aufzukochen und mit Obst zu verfeinern. Das verstehe ich unter gesund und natürlich .

I specifically hunt out organic coffee and food places so when I saw this one night, I said I have to try it. The owners are friendly, informative, well educated on their products and ingredients and they really care about you. The food is yummy. The atmosphere is comforting and entertaining all in one like you came home to see the family. I absolutely love this place and the people that run it. There are other places I love but their combination of professionalism and service on top of quality ingredients is what steals my heart for favorite.

I had a wonderful breakfast sandwich this morning. The eggs were light and fluffy and the bread was an amazing seeded multi grain. Chatted with the owner for a little while about his philosophy of food and was impressed with their commitment to clean organic foods. His wife watches all the ingredients used like a hawk. Menu was full of beautiful looking salads that Im interested to try next time. I saw them making one before I left and the ingredients looked fresh and beautiful

Bathroom spotless! Seriously? A restaurant review which headlines the bathroom? Yes, Ownership obviously cares about the little things. We had a late lunch, so it wasnt busy. Two polite young men were working the counter. Very patient in dealing with some dietary restrictions. Tuna and hummus plates were very good. We were encouraged to ask for more if we needed additional servings. The smoothie, as every comments on, was terrific.

Best smoothie I have ever had! We have a wonderful coffee shop in my home town and I am definitely spoiled by it, but this place is amazing! The owners are great and ridiculously nice! Treated us like friends and catered to our children (which can be a little difficult at times ;) ) Coffee was great and the food was wonderful as well! I only wish we wouldve found it before our last day!

We showed up as a pretty large group one afternoon, and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating, trying to serve us as quickly as they could. They even threw in some discounts for our next visit due to us having to wait (even though we werent bothered with having to wait at all). Simple and healthy food and drink choices. We all enjoyed our visit!

These people and food are the real deal. The web site said a chicken salad sandwich is 13.00. I get there and the sign board says 11.00. I order to go and the lady said the sandwich is really 6.00. She did not have to do this but honest as can be. By the way the best sandwich Ive ever had. As a local they gained a repeat customer Good job

This is my favorite coffee shop in all of Clearwater. They have organic food, which is delicious and the coffee is amazing. My wife and I often ride our bikes here for brunch during the week. The shop is owned and run by a whole family. Its awesome and the parents are extremely nice. Highly highly recommended.

They advertise that everything is organic and fresh, but the oatmeal tasted like instant. Terrible service, even though we were the only ones there when we arrived we waited until 15 minutes after we had already finished eating before asking to get our drinks to go because we couldnt wait any longer.

A must visit if you are in the Clearwater Beach area. Delicious organic food. My wife and I got poached eggs and avocado, hummus plate, Green Gabriel smoothie and a Clearwater Sunset smoothie. The owner and his family went out of their way to provide excellent friendly food and service.
