I have been going to 5 Bean ever since it opened. I have always had such positive and uplifting visits. The staff and owner have become a group of ladies I consider friends. They always greet customers with warm, friendly, genuine care. My latte is always created to perfection and love. I love the coziness of the coffee shop and always go inside to talk with the girls while they make my morning pick me up. It just doesnt feel right going through the drive thru. The variety of customers are always wonderful to interact with as well. Yes, Ive been here when the girls are slammed. Its a great experience watching their teamwork and continued friendliness under pressure. Ive been gifted Starbucks cards for different holidays but I have to admit... I dont enjoy it. We live in a world of hustle and bustle; of I want it now; of not stopping to enjoy our surroundings and experiences. My few minutes of 5 Bean each morning reminds me to slow down, appreciate and enjoy all aspects of life. thank you Tracy for taking s chance all those years ago to provide your love and amazing products at 5 Bean. I think its also a Grand testimony that my 2 sons willing chose your Shamrock Shimmy over McDonalds Shamrock Shake!

5bean is hands down the best local coffee shop around Columbus! I even miss it when I travel ♡ staff is always friendly and smiling and is always accommodating. Perfect to order for office gatherings and there is rarely ever a wait (maybe one car.... at the busiest time of day). Whether your drink is Hot, Cold brewed, over iced or frozen..... its a hit! Recommendation: Frozen: Buckeye or Shamrock Shimmy Iced: Mocha or Pumpkin Caramel Pecan (yes... its pumpkin all year) Hot: Armando blend Take home grounds: Celtic Grogg or Southern Pecan Roasts.

We are not from the area and chose 5 bean because of how high the rating was, but my experience was fairly disappointing. I ordered an Iced Latte and the the "espresso shots" were "pulled" from a press pot. I am sorry, but that is not okay. If I had known that the espresso was going to come out of a press pot, I would have chosen another cafe, one that had an espresso machine. As for the drink, it was flavored and entirely too sweet. The two girls that were there working were very nice though, no complaints on the staff.

They should tell customers when the wifi is not working. I only visit cafes to work. Every single time I have visited this place, the wifi either doesnt work, or is so weak it takes forever to connect to a webpage. Theyve had this problem for years. I dont know why they havent invested in getting it fixed once and for all. With that said, its a waste of money to come here if you need to get things done. Youll have to use your phone as a hotspot. The coffee is otherwise OK.

One of the best places to get a coffee or a refreshing drink. My wife loves the coffees and the kid and I love the frozen hot chocolate. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful with suggestions. They also give back to the community by allowing artists to show their work in the shop and by sponsoring community events. Top notch all around. Id much rather give my money to a place like 5 Bean Coffee than a conglomerate retailer shop.

5 Bean Coffee is my favorite coffee shop on the east side of Columbus! My drinks have been made fresh, hot and to order every time I have visited. The 5 Bean Mocha is one of my favorite hot beverages from anywhere! Pricing is very competitive and better than the bigger chains. The staff has been friendly and helpful with suggestions every time I visit. Other coffee shops are closer, but I drive the extra distance to go to 5 Bean!

We drive out of our way to support this local coffee shop because we really like their drinks. We love the hot chai w coconut milk and caramel cappuccino w real caramel sauce...and buckeye blended drink and kids sized blended vanilla cream. I appreciate kids size and pricing because mine often cant finish a larger drink. Drinks are always great and service is friendly. Keep up the amazing work!!!

On Feb 12 around 11 am, they served my cappuccino in the broken (in 3 places) mug. When I asked to replace it, they started to dispute and argue with me instead of saying sorry and making another one. Eventually, they just poured cappuccino from the broken mug to another one instead of making another fresh cappuccino, so I had no lovely milk foam. Im so pissed off by the quality of their service

Im in the media biz, and get free coffee from advertisers everyday. But the Crimson Cup Coffee (local) that 5 Bean serves up, beats all others in town. Plus the fun and friendly folks here are nothing like the hurry-up-and-get-out-of-here baristas at the coffee chains. Stop in, or pull through their convenient drive through, to get your morning, noontime, or evening cup.

I have been coming here for several years and am totally in love with the place. The drinks are incredible and competitively priced. The staff is friendly and helpful. They become friends very quickly! The shop is clean and relaxing. The owner has sunk her heart and soul into her business and it shows! Do yourself a favor and try it. Tell them Barb sent you!

Have stopped in on the way to work. Enjoy the product. The cost is a little high. In general the workers are rude. The women slam your coffee in your hand and slam the window. Have to chase them for a receipt. Ive returned to the long lines at Starbucks with better customer service skills. If 5 bean was the only coffee joint, Id go without!

Been going for years. Best baristas on the East side. Wifi is consistent. Theyll pick up your *normal* drink after only a few visits. Features the work of upcoming painters on their local walls. My younger thinks there hot chocolate cold/hot is better than the competition.

I always have a great experience when coming to five bean! You cant get a hot mocha anywhere as good as you can here. Lauren makes great coffee and when I go in and dont know what I want I trust her judgement to find me something good and each time Im more then satisfied

The Frozen Hot Chocolate! My parents say that their regular coffee is magical--but I adore the Frozen Hot Chocolate! Wow! The employees are always energetic, and attentive to their work; the cup Im given always looks like it comes from a commercial.

Amazing small business that deserves much appreciation— dedicated workers, delicious coffee, and elegant food options available! Give them a try! They have something for everyone, and are, in my personal opinion, much better than any Starbucks
