Good meat selection. If you want someone who actually cuts and puts hands on the food you eat. Not like Wal-Mart, be it a little cheaper, where some random person who also works in the clothing department puts out the pre-cut, pre-packed meat in the cooler. You can get any cut of meat at any thickness you want. They can even help you with cooking ideas. Go ahead.... Ask the next Wal-Mart employee you see what the temperature a pork roast should be who its fully cooked. That should be evidence enough where your money should go.

Not all Winn-Dixies but there are a couple that are okay one and Dade City Florida and the one in Ridge Manor Florida on Cortez. They have a couple of Clerks there that are very plus they dont treat you like youre in a factory like okay next product please and Ive gotten those from the stock crew that our pleasure take the time to talk to you and help you out and one Im talking to you right now is one in Ridge Manor Florida.

I have to say that their meat section is good, never had any issues with any of their meat, deli or fruits/veggies. I do recommend checking the eggs they are notoriously bad for having cracks eggs though. The prices are good and they are great about getting you a product in if they are out of stock or dont normally carry it.

Winn-Dixie is always better than Walmart because it isnt as crazy. They have done a great job getting prices down but most of the time there is only one cashier available and no one helping her bag and other employees standing around that could help. Instead the customers end up helping.

The store is usually clean and employees are helpful. If you take advantage of sales and competitors coupons you can usually get some good deals. Im not real happy about them doing away with the fuel perks program but we will see with time how the new rewards program measures up.
