I will say the actual ophthalmologist here is absolutely wonderful - as are the ladies that help with the check-ins for the examinations, however the staff in the area where you go to pick out glasses are positively AWFUL! There is a girl there who seems to think she knows a lot about fashion (though I would beg to differ...) and she may intend to be helpful but she just comes accross as rude and condescending. I swear I felt like I was back in high school having to deal with her. I dont need some prissy opinion on how my glasses look from anyone. If I like them thats all that matters. Also she doesnt suggest what looks best- she just spends her time obnoxiously pushing you towards the most expensive glasses in the store, without considering what you actually like or want. Save yourself time snd frustration and buy your glasses online so you dont have to deal with being pestered by her and pushed towards several hundred dollar frames. Also you have to watch. They say 2 pair for $99 or $129 with free single vision lenses, but without asking your preference they add the most expensive lenses and options they can to them hoping you dont ask why the price jumped. You will walk out spending 2 or three time what you meant to if you dont watch them closely. More concerned with money than customer satisfaction. My husband and I went in and paid $120 for both of our doctors visit. We picked 2 frames for $99 with free single vision lenses... Suddenly shes quoting me $269 for only my glasses and another $269 for his. I asked what the extra charges were and she was vague about telling me..so we finally left with nothing. I cant stand dirty business tactics like that. Seriously. Just get your script and order online.

First of all you dont get two pair of glasses for $78.00, if you dont let them up sell you with the scratch resistant and anti glare, progressive bi focal will run around $280 or so. Its not a bad price but its not even close to $78.00 or even double. Plus they will pressure you into upgrading them taking out the supper thick lensed glasses were one lens is anti glare and one is normal makes one eye look really big and one normal, I almost LOL when the guy put them on. Snake oil sales man is what came to mind. I guess if you use thick glasses like Coke bottles get the anti glare. Also its been over a week and no glasses yet so that in house lab must be for the big dollar glasses. Btw this is the third time my wife has purchased glasses here but I dont remember so much pressure to upgrade the glasses before, and them taking so long. Im not saying you cant get glasses for $78.00 , maybe for reading glasses Ill stick with the dollar store ones.

Had a great experience. The cost of the contacts exam was so much cheaper than Ive paid at private offices and it was the same exam. I must admit that I expected to "nudged" to look at the glasses while waiting for my eyes to fully dilate, but the Dr just asked if I wanted glasses during the exam, I replied no, and that was it. So I must say I was pleasantly surprised that the environment felt like an office and not a store. Overall, professional staff and definitely cheaper than most private practices.

My frames snapped in half at the nose bridge. They were only 2 months old. I had been wearing them around my neck and I leaned against them. SNAP! I took them in and Jonathan found the same frame and wrote up a receipt ($0), gave them to Paul who popped out the lenses from the broken ones and put them in the new ones. He, in turn, fitted them to my face and voila! .... I was in & out in 10 mins. After the crappy week I had been having, this was the highlight. I am one happy camper :)

Gwen was so welcoming. She gave me a quote over the phone with no problem and scheduled me the same day. Unfortunately I was about 20 minutes late but they got me in and out within an hour. Dr. Riehl was friendly and explained the photos taken of my eyes. It was an extremely pleasant visit and we will be back for my husbands exam soon.

I called in for my prescription and they handily ruined my night because I called them at six they "faxed" it at 6:59 but they close at 7:00??? They lied to me and are a bunch of hooligans who dont care about your satisfaction but your money.

Clueless people working here. They keep you waiting for hours and have no communication with one another. Not coming back.
