I love Bestworld Supermarket! If youve spent any time overseas, this will be your store. It has aisle after aisle of foods from around the world crammed into a no-thrills large store in the center of Mt Pleasant. If youre a foodie and want to cook with some top foods from around the world, go here! A few things to point out: 1) They have a good produce aisle. 2) They have two sections of spices for cheap and tons of it. 3) The cheese section skews hispanic, but its so good! 4) Pinatas are on sale all the time! Definitely go here for a DC adventure!

Good selection of harder to find Asian pantry items within DC. Good selection of rice and specialty flours. Fresh produce is good quality for the price. I usually check here if Im need a specific item for an ethnic dish before schlepping out to VA or MD. 4 times out of 5 I can find it at best world.

All the staff here are so friendly. Theres a surprising selection, considering how small the establishment is. A perfect place to pick up essentials like almond milk, avocados, and eggs. Also great for more unique ingredients that you might not find at a larger grocery store.
