TCBS crew is friendly and knowledgeable - many of the workers have given me recommendations based off of my past purchases, opening me up to titles and creators that I would never have tried otherwise. Sarah has even helped me select appropriate comics for my high school classroom, which my kids love. Their books are organized, they have incredible deals on discount trades, they host kid-friendly gaming events, they run an incredible book club that gets to Skype with iconic creators, they bring local creators to their shop for signings, they stock diverse comic titles, creators, and publishers, and they treat everyone who walks through their door with respect. I have never felt so comfortable in a comic shop or seen a staff so dedicated to their customers!

The Comic Book Shop is one of the nicest, cleanest, and most family friendly comic shops I have ever visited. The staff is enthusiastic, welcoming, and helpful - unlike any of the stereotypical male-oriented comic shops you may have seen on TV or heard people talk about. On a personal level, Sarah, Titus and the gang are absolutely wonderful individuals who always have a smile on their face and a story to tell. Super supportive of the local indie comic book community and always willing to lend a hand or a voice to support emerging artists and writers.

The Comic Book Shop is truly a wonderful place to go. Sarah, Titus, and the rest of the crew are really excel at customer service. You would never be made to feel weird for being in a comic store (as is very possible in a lot of them), and they are always happy to help. They carry a great selection of comics, including much more than the "popular" superhero books. They support their community and you would do well to check the place out if you love comics OR if you are looking to check out a comic.

Went in there based on the reviews, except the first one, and found the staff knowledgeable and very professional. I grabbed some Judge Dredds and others and the staff helped me find what I needed with no pressure to purchase. I was also told about the free comic book day and weekend events. They may need to expand as there will be a lot of business going through this store.

I got into comics about a year ago and this was the first shop that I went to. The first time I went in, one of the employees helped me figure out what comics I would like and gave great suggestions and was very friendly . I later found out that they were the owner. This is a great shop with a great staff, and I would highly recommend it to new or veteran comic readers.

Ive been in a few comic book shops in my time, but never "got into it" because the staff were very elitist and unhelpful people. Not so at TCBS! The staff and store are clean, well organized, friendly, yet professional! At no point did I have to restrain myself from punching any rude people in the throat, as the staff were very polite and helpful!

my kids love coming here! they always find a fun new story and often branch out into different genre comics. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. the youth comics are organized by reading level /age group which is a plus since i have a 4 and 7 year old. Its a great little store and we often venture into Delaware just to come here

This is a great shop with great people who own and run it. It goes without saying that they are friendly. They know the comic market backward and forward, and it has good stock. They are also very community friendly and involved. A perfect place for me at over 40 and my son at 8. Go there. But stuff from them. Leave happy and appreciated.

Sarah and Titus are awesome people, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and appropriately nerdy/geeky. The Comic Book Shop appeals to everyone who walks in because of the knowledgable and friendly staff, the incredible selection, and the equal acceptance of both male and female customers. By far the best employees around in any store Ive been in. Really cool place for anyone of any age to buy and read some really amazing and fun comic book and cartoon related items. Worth a visit even if your just bored and want to see something new and cool. All the staff are super helpful and really know their stuff!

Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. Lots of great sales and discounts on first issues and volumes in an effort to introduce people to new series. Subscription box is free as long as you come in monthly to pick up your issues, and there are a few monthly book clubs. Definitely my new local comic book store!

Stopped by for the first time on comic book day. Store is pretty big and well organized, with a nice section up front with nothing but kid-friendly comics. Even with the crowds that day, the staff was very friendly and helpful as I tried to find some new books for my daughter (and myself!) Will definitely be back.

Every time my family and I visit the Comic Book Shop we have a great experience. Sarah has always been very helpful when we are there to find something my children will like as well as something my wife and I can read as well. Never feel pressured to purchase anything and that makes the difference.

Sarah and Patrick Titus and their staff do a Wonderful job of creating a safe, playful environment. They always have great recommendations and have amazing events with terrific guests. They do a lot of community support by raising money for charities as well.
